He didn't have some idea beforehand?!

Hypercubed might be on to something. o.o

Woo! (^o.o)^ Score one for me!

I'm almost positive Slender Man causes this... "fatal fascination," which inevitably, is going to lead to someone either going insane by the end of the story, or... sadly... someone dying.

Because I don't think Jay is going to kill Slender Man. EDIT: So if Jay doesn't kill Slender Man, he's either going insane... or... well, you know.

I've been thinking more about Masky, and I have a thought (and feel free to tell me if someone else has come up with this one already).

I know there is a general feeling that Masky might be trying to help Jay in some way, and while watching Entry #19 I think I might have some more evidence of that.

In Entry #19 I don't think Masky is stalking Jay, I think he's protecting him, to the point that is Masky took Jay out of the room it was for his own protection. I say this because of what Masky does.

He starts out by watching Jay though the blinds, then he's up on the dresser, then by his side (and apparently pulled the covers up over him) then staring into the camera. After he notices that camera we see the room is empty, Jay is gone and Masky is looking in through the window again.

So, why is Masky watching the empty room? I suspect he moved Jay for some reason, maybe he somehow noticed that the camera was acting up, perhapes on the LCD screen, and moved Jay to keep him safe. Or maybe he failed and Jay was taken anyways (The Return video seems to hint at that).

Either way, Masky is watching the room for something, and whatever that something is, it's not Jay.

Of course that raises the interesting question, why did Masky attack Jay in Entry #18? Maybe he was trying to keep Jay from discovering something worse. He was just playing with the Slendy Puppet...

If this is true, I'm pretty sure that Masky and ToTheArk are not the same person. Masky seems to be trying to keep Jay safe while Ark keeps pushing Jay into danger...

<_<

Considering how it's 1:30 here, I am NOT staying up to see if Jay uploads a new video. I'll just check tomorrow. Also, TTA logged into YouTube a day or two ago, didn't he? Maybe Jay is just jerking us around.

I'd laugh if he was, but it'd be sort of annoying. XD

Alright, not sure if this has been posted, but did anyone notice that Jay took off TTA's response to #23? Its still on TTA's account but you can't get to it as a video response as usual. Any significance? Or is this Jay's way of not acknowledging the responses?

I didn't see that Warning was directly attached in the first place!

My not insignificant other and I have decided that the way that things are going, we're probably never going to get all of the answers... but it will probably conclude more solidly than, for example, JAF: if it's a good end, Jay will make the last post. If it's a bad end (and we're pretty sure that it will be) then TTA will make the last post.

Not saying that that's coming up immediately, but who knows!

Anyways, I'm glad someone else noticed that there appeared to be a Masky-face in the window after Jay is gone. That seemed really weird to me, and made me question whether it was actually a face or whether it was just an odd distortion... but before Jay goes to bed, we see nothing so it would make sense that he's hanging out there.

o.o I still don't know if Masky is outright protecting him. Seems more likely that he's trying to scare some sense into Jay, or might even be causing direct harm in a very glancing sort of way. Like for whatever reason (lol narrative) he can't just make things clear from the start. If what the SA folks were talking about #20 was true, where it seemed like they were having odd memory loss problems right from the start ("Lol, where's Brian?" "We're in his house but it doesn't matter~!") then Masky and TTA (one and the same or otherwise) could find that it's required to reveal things in bits and chunks.

Feck, it could just as easily be that nobody remembers everything very clearly. Only in going completely batshit does someone gain some respite from the horror of memory loss and stuff. *shrug* Maybe both of 'em are trying to drive Jay nuts so that he'll be safe?

Incorrect. What you say is:

Trout This has been debated and discussed quite a bit before in the old, 300+ page Trailhead.

I really do think Masky is trying to protect him. He uses a variety of methods, including trying to scare him away, and what I got from 'Warning' was that TTA was getting fed up with Jay messing around with all the Marble Hornets stuff while at the same time ignoring Masky/TTA's attempts to stop Jay, so the video was basically saying 'Look, this is what happened to Alex, and this is what will happen to you. Just stop it already. Seriously.' That, or it was pointing out how the steps Alex took didn't work, and it was warning Jay that Slendy was now on his trail. In case he didn't know already, you know.

:\ It's just that when I messaged TTA a little after Warning went up, he told me that everything was going according to plan. Didn't sound especially fed up to me... He does seem to be more of a mocking sort of dude than one who is genuinely trying to help.

just wanted to point something out real quick. not sure if this has been brought up before, but in one of the earlier entries (#2 I think) alex mentions his dog's reaction to slenderman. what ever happened to this dog?

now in the interview with tim, he says that people were leaving dead animals in his yard. if this is true, then maybe it was his dog that was killed and left in his yard?

if my theory is correct, then that means that slenderman (or masky, if he was there back then) is not above killing animals.
