Jake threw the FAMAS into the window of the car and then got into the back seat of the car with his sisters. He picked her up and put her into a mroe natural position on the back seat. He shook her a little bit ans said "hey....heey Faye are you okay?...wake up damnit!" he yelled almost choking up with tears. He hoped she would wake up. He poked his head out the widnow "hey Gavin! go round everyone else up....we gotta go" he hoped theyd get somewhere with first aid and such on the tank of gas they had left. He checked the meter and thoguht half a full tank...should get far enoguh away He saw the other girl coming towards them and kinda felt relieved "jsut get into the driving seat and lets get out of here! he yelled at the girl hoping shed take that as an order and follow it.He didn't notice the obviosu first aid kit near his sister.

Gavin ran back to see half of the group waking up. He ignored Jake's order and climbed into the car.

Terrence OK but unconscious, Faye also unconscious with her brother staring over her bleeding. And Mike fully unconscious. Mia and Tricia were laying in the back of the car just getting up. He walked to Faye and her brother. She was struggling and moaning. Not good.

(quick psot before I get distracted)

Jake turned to Gavin with eyes that were turnignr ed from him being clsoe to crying "you moron....go get he others!....we gotta get out of here...." the last statement trailed off a bit as he jsut returned to shaking his sister one mroe time "cmon wake up sis!" he said this in a vocie that was rbeaking from the emotional strain of the day. He didn't want to see his isster die infront of him.

Kate ran over to them and looked over where Faye and Jake were. "Hand me her med kit, give it here," she ordered them, most of them looking like they needed some emergency medical treatment.

"David! Get in the driver's seat, see if this vehicle can still function!"

Gavin continued to ignore Jake. He was tired of his crap. He was worried of his sister. He grabbed the medkit and gave it to Kate on her order then turned back to Faye while wiping the blood off his face.

You've damned me a lot today God so you better give me something by making her be alright

David was amazed at what he'd just done, but was still pissed at what the moster did to his ride, "Shit i hope she still works. Who's hurt and who isn't?" plans formulating in his mind now that he new ITS weakness. He checked his suburban for anything that could keep it from running. David whistled she's safe lots of cosmetic damage though, but nothing he couldn't fix. then he heard some rustleing behind him "come back for some more ya freak?!"

((the rustling that david hears is the overseer. gonna wait for him to hookup with us.))

Kate walked up and forced Jake to help her move Faye into a better position so she could treat her head injuries. "Jake, listen to me. Snap out of it and help me," she told him, motioning to Faye.

I'm not letting these people die on me. I owe them.

Jake looked at kate with a vacant stare for a moment then seemed to come back to reality. He weakly nodded and said "okay....what do you need me to do?"

The Overseer was running, moving through as fast as he could. In his haste, he forgot protocol and just kept running, gun hitting his chest. Him and Jo...Johnson were going as fast as they could, training be damned.

Then they went through the bushes. It was burning in front of them, an entire part of the forest. There was a river meandering through, stopping the spread...but no way they could get across.

He looked both ways of the river, searching for anything...THERE! A small section with no trees, just a large rock face. He turned around for a moment, about to tell...wait, tell what?

No one there after all. The Overseer shook his head. Someone had been with him, hadn't they? No, must be his imagination.

He moved through the river, raising the gun above his head. Slowly, he was able to make his way to the right towards the rocks. Getting out of it with a splash, he winced. God, he could FEEL the heat from the fire...

The man hurried up the rock face, climbing to the top and waiting for the fire to stop. After a few minutes, enough of it faded for him to make his way carefully through the forest, in the rough direction the Slenderman had come from.

For a moment, he saw a black shape in the trees that didn't quite match the rest of the burnt trees. His mind didn't register the significance of this, or the green armored form being dragged across the ground....

He finally came unto the road and almost screamed as the people pointed their guns at him. Black shape coming out of the forest. Bad memories for them.

[Serenity]

"Lay her on her back for me," she ordered him, opening the med kit and sitting down on the seat next to her.

She heard the rustling of dirt and leaves from behind them all, her SCAR-H instantly being aimed at whatever came out of the trees. It was a man.

No time, she thought as she went back to tending Faye.

((What kind of injuries/cuts/wounds does Faye have?))

His eyes immediatly caught the sight of an army uniform. He let his arms back down, he had had them in a mock "surrender" motion. "Could you all stop aiming the guns at me? Come on."

He walked across the path, moving towards Kate. The man almost jumped when he noticed what she was doing. Composing himself, he bent down to look down at Faye. "Will she be all right?"

He stopped for a moment.

"What happened with all of you? I saw you driving off in the car..."

He glanced at the wreck now.

"Then what?"

"HE cought up to us while we were on our way to a possible safe house sir." David said to the overseer, "i kicked its ass though. Seems to me that its weak to fire" Daid then explained to the overseer what had just happened.

((Huge ass bruise across her back, cut across her forehead, concussion, and various nicks on limbs from being hurled about. That's about it I think, and you don't have to treat all of them, once Faye's back up she'll get most of them.))

Jake, arms shaking slightly still, wiped a hand across his eyes, then nodded, rolling Faye gingerly onto her back. She groaned softly, and he pushed her messy hair off her face carefully, then looked up at the man who had come out of the forest. "I hope she'll be okay." he said, his sentence punctuated by another slight moan from Faye. Hearing David start to explain what had happened, he turned back to Kate, asking tremulously,"What now?"

Faye's fingers moved a bit, and she struggled a bit, then calmed. At least she's doing SOMETHING now...

[Tyran]

"Odd...there have been reports where he's been near fires...hell, even where people seem to have caused them, to get rid of evidence for him..."

He lapsed into silence for a moment, as he often did when thinking. "Perhaps it just never thought to avoid fire, or that it could be used against it. Well, it knows now. All we need to worry about is whether the trick works twice."

He shook his head. "I saw it's suit...repairing itself. It'll be better soon. How long until we can get moving, do you think?"
