Hahaha, yeah. TTA is totally the sort of guy who likes to mess with people.

Of course, now I just want to look for innuendo in the crazy stuff he says.
-_-

Good, now that I know I'm not completely off-base there, someone mentioned the message at the end of one of the TTA videos that said "WHEREIS THEARK" and thought TTA was saying "YO MOTHAFUCKA GIMME BACK MY ARK".

But what if it's a genuine question?
"TOTHEARK"
"WHEREIS THEARK"
Like he's saying "go to where it's safe...but where is it safe?"

I dunno. Just throwing ideas around.

Delurking to say something silly.

What if.... Slenderman is TTA?

"Hey Jay, stay at home all by your lonesome so I can teleport you to my house, drug you and doll you up for my own amusement! Don't stop looking for me, you're a fun toy and I wanna eat your organs when you start to bore me."

I'm not sure if I'd go for that myself, but it seemed like a funny idea. I mean, if Slendy feeds off fear and paranoid feelings, what better way to perpetuate that than sending his target freaky creepazoid videos?

Feel free to flame the heck out of that, it's more of a random thought than a real theory, and I'm not even sure if it'd go in this thread, anyway.

Ffft, it could also be that TTA is a minion in the same way, even if it's not Slendy who's making the videos himself.

Which of TTA's entries says 'Whereis theark'? o.o I'm blanking on that one!

It's in Exit, as noted on the first page of this thread. It's only in the very last frame if you download the video.

My pet totheark theory, reposted in a more proper place

Who goes to the ark in the Bible story?
Pairs of animals. . .one male, and one female.

So from that I intuit that the ones who go "to the ark" are perhaps Sarah (the only female, I think, who is involved) and one male.

I still don't really feel that Tim is Masky, but who knows?

By the way, also, Alex says at the end of his own run that Jay is one of the "goners." Then later, according to the backstory supplied by J, he later met up with Jay and was 'coerced" or persuaded to hand over the tapes. Clearly, Jay was not 'gone' in any normal sense, and he didn't even know that anything specific was up. So in what sense was he gone?
Well. there are more and more hints about time travel. . .hmmm.. perhaps that was insight from some future experience??

In #22, Alex lists off the cast as all being 'gone'. While Brian seems to have been 'gone' the longest, at least in a noteworthy fashion (who knows, Sarah could've been gone even sooner; she only seems to make an appearance three times in the entire series! Maybe she's just that unimportant...?) everyone else seems to be at varying levels of gone-ness. Sarah, Brian (nobody knows where he went as early as #17, whatever point in the timeline that is), Seth (for disappearing at the end of #22 and not being heard of again), Alex (for 'moving away'), Tim (for showing up at an interview three years later) and Jay (for, you know, being a protagonist.)

The cast are all goners, but not physically.

And anyways, I think that Gnomon is just trying to get us to use that term more often when discussing 'em in the context of how here or gone the characters are. ;P

This has probably been brought up since entry #24 and time travel theories have come up, but time travel may/may not be involved...

Couldn't entry #22 be Alex in the future, and everyone really is physically gone (including Jay)?
Alex had moved away so he was the only one left, he found Seth (who I believe is just the cameraman) and decided to go back to that underground area with him, but things didn't go well.

If you think of it that way, it makes the time travel element seem a little less stupid and makes Masky's role a bit more interesting. What if he really IS Alex coming back to help Jay?

Probably not, though. Just brainstorming.

This.
Or am I the only one who thought TTA had a feminine edge?
Also, in the last TTA video I thought I saw the edge of a hair bun or pony-tail behind one of those masks...maybe not...

Potentially, though to me I've only ever gotten hints of 'yaaaaay, art! Also, I'm clever with pairing discrepancies together and I've dug deeper in my research than most other folks bother!' from him/them, myself. Also, potentially, 'damn I'm smart, I'm going to fool all y'all!' though that could just be a message fudged into the narrative. Am is not of much brain capacity to be able to piece apart totheark... though this's half the fun. >:)

what if ToTheArk is look for alex?

i read it in the continued trailhead, and it seems like a long shot but it makes sense when he asks Whereis Theark?

what if alex is some kind of savior being the only one able to rid the world of SM, or maybe specifying he has a bigger role then it looks in the entire grand theme of the series?

so far alex was pretty much the first story teller.

J basically just showed us the story that alex was a part of.

this also attributes to the theory of TTA saying that J is not a good narrator.

maybe because we should be looking at him as a narrator.

atleast not when he shows us alex's videos.

hes looking at the videos the same way we are. for the first time.

he knows as much as we do probably and more then likely doesnt see the big picture.

maybe TTA wants J to find alex so the 3 of them can save the world. or themselves.

i figured thinking outside the box might just be what we need. and not too far outside like SM=alien >_<

Edited because i dont like having a huge paragraph of words Sad

TTA could still be Alex AND looking for Alex, if you get my drift. If people are 'gone' without really being physically absent, Alex could have lost a part of himself during his struggle and is looking to Jay to help him find that lost piece.

Lol, my mind made the hop from 'Alex as savior' to 'J as savior'. I'm totally pulling one of those horribly artfaggy moments, so I apologize, but 'J' could equal 'Jesus' in a roundabout way. Only saying this because a prof recently was comparing John Connor of Terminator as JC, our bearded hombre in the sky... and... lol, I can't keep a straight face drawing these connections. XD But, you know, had to go there once.

Anyhow thinking outside the box is good. We are sort of stuck and having Jay feeding us footage of his adventures through the looking glass lately hasn't really gotten us too far. If he could be aware enough to track TTA down and interview the shit out of him, THEN we'd be getting somewhere... heh.

i actually read alot about the reference of John Connor to Jesus, but its not like its the only movie to ever do that lol. i didnt really mean to make it sound religious. kinda just though of it like a movie sense.

pretty much this:

J find Alex

Alex finds out more about himself.

Alex encounters SM and is able to do some weird ability

Alex continues learning abilities

Alex confronts SM and wins, or in a JAF way dies Sad

and i like the idea of Alex finding Alex. esp if you include the idea that TTA is alex from the future. if thats true then maybe he lost his memory and wants to change the future by finding himself. which in time traveling theories he shouldnt be able to confront himself. otherwise universe=BOOM. which would mean hes trying to help J find himself. wow this is some theory. lol

That's a rather intricate theory you've got there, not to mention paradoxal @_@ I personally believe that if Teleportation IS occuring, then it's only taking place to a small extent in the present time it happens, in otherwords not time travel XD
