He could still have been led out of the house for two hours. It could just be that the tapes monitoring him during the time he was taken away were fed loops...?

The weird music and the fact that he glimpsed someone in the TV and almost seemed to be following commands support (for me at least, I'm probably wrong) that someone (TTA? Masky? Slendy?) have access to his house... so yeah, the image in the living room could have been looped, but the sound of the door slamming on top of that could be that the audio of Jay being led off couldn't be covered. Also the different time stamps could be where they attempt to mimick Jay's surveillance system... shoddily. Very Happy

They're TRYING to make it obvious that he's teleporting, because people like you still aren't getting it :V

Why do you think the door he opens doesn't open on the other camera, even though the timestamp is the same? Because he's TELEPORTING. Like I said before, the whole point of this entry was to confirm the teleportation theory.



Also, to anyone thinking that J in Return is actually J from 24:

Again, even though the door did NOT open from the other side, doesn't mean it's teleporting.

Someone, like TTA or Masky, could have simply edited out the footage of the door opening from that side and looped an old recording or something, I don't know why, but I just don't think it's teleporting.

I much prefer the simple SLENDYFUCKED memory thing.

 		Also I think that if you're talking about a mysterious shadow-man who has the ability to alter energy in such a way as to totally fuck up a camera, then you're clearly dealing with sci-fi. Within those parameters and taking into account previous videos, I think it's not a totally insane idea to consider teleportation.

Though, I'm in favor of the teleportation idea. I just think it would be kind of silly for someone to go to the trouble of breaking in just to edit the footage, instead of just, like, destroying it or something if their ultimate goal was that he didn't remember anything happening. Especially since we already know that Slendy's presence alone can cause some kind of memory wipe.

There are also some strange shapes earlier than that, from :37-1:00. The first one sort of resembles an eye socket, and the second one looks like teeth. A skull's teeth.

I think I have found definitive proof that that 'face' on the television screen is indeed a skull: Very Happy

ANYways... if it were a skull, why would the chunk that is nearest the temple be cut off? Maybe Masky's mask has been altered? (I still am thinking that it is Masky. XD Sorry!)

Points for Teleportation vs Tape Tampering:
Can we agree that while TTA's motives are fuzzy most of the time to us and sometimes seem to have dual purposes, one of the biggest things that he seems to do is to want to unnerve and otherwise scare the piss out of Jay?

If that is the case, it could be that he (or Masky, if they're not the same person) are doing their damnedest to make Jay believe that there are stronger powers afoot than what he's seen with Slender Man. We don't really see people teleporting (aside from Slendy disappearing in #14) early on... it could be that TTA wants Jay to be more scared about what they are capable of because they want him to be more open to receiving their messages. So, they toss in some footage of Jay being gone and loop it into the camera pointed at the one door. But they miss replacing the sound... for some reason.

On the other hand it could be that TTA CAN teleport but Jay cannot, so he's using his bag o' tricks to terrify Jay and make him think that it's even worse than it actually is.

I'm unsettled either way. Teleportation is a really nifty turn, though. I'd enjoy seeing more of this.

Also more masky, fwiw. XD That's just my fangirl speaking though, don't mind that!

 		Hey, the face appears in the screen the exact moment J steps out. Also, could it be that when he turns back, he's acknowledging some one who is behind him, say, from the other room. Maybe opening the door from whence he came?

I kind of have to agree with you, Dray. The eye holes on both are large and black with generally white surroundings. To me, the eye holes seem a bit sunken inward in with a gradient of color, denoting depth. I think that Masky's painted mask would cast more of a solid color, but that's just me and my silly opinion! I did think it was Masky at first, untill I saw that prominent triangular nose hole. Laughing

 		Also the eyes seem wider apart in the saturated image than the original masky mask. So... I don't know. XD

'Smile for death' does make a certain amount of sense. Could always be that the masky mask is supposed to symbolize a skull, and that that's what they were trying to get across?

but he does change into a white shirt in 19 once in bed as has been mentioned although i agree with you on the point of this entry being to illustrate some kind of displacement although the rules arent necessarily clear yet
