Kate sighed and propped herself up against the wall, waiting for the Overseer to speak to her. He didn't usually make her talk to him so it must have been important, but he seemed deep in thought. "What is it?" she asked again.

David had come to tell him more people arrived, but he seemed to busy to notice. She glanced out the window, which was still being pummeled by rain. She watched the two new people, actually, three, and her team speak in front of the garage. "They should get out of the rain," she murmured, feeling a little sluggish all of a sudden. She was a little exhausted. "Mm," she hummed to herself. "Sir," she said, not bothering to put emphasis anymore, "snap out of it. What did you need?"

Faye gave Gavin a pat on the shoulder. "I'll rest later, I should check up on everyone first..."
At the sound of another males' voice, Faye spun around, her sight focusing on a boy in a school uniform. Rain soaked Faye as she trotted over. "Uh, is everything okay? We're all inside." Faye gave the new boy and Mia a cautious smile. "You should join us, so you don't catch a cold. I'm Faye."

"She's right, let's go inside," Mia said, not waiting for answers from the boy. "Faye, are you okay? You look exhausted. Maybe you should lay down for a while," Mia said.

Andrew stomped forward not even thinking to be kind. As he came in and sat on the steps leading into the house. He looked down realizing his school uniform was covered in mud.

Great, that's great. Where am I going to get clothes? He looked around and then was anything but subtle.

He stood up and said, "Alright does anyone here know anything about a tall man in a business suit cause he's the F***ING reason that I ended here."

Mike finally came out to where everyone was, having washed his face of any proof of his emo incident. Seeing the newcomers, he greeted then, then noticed one looked particularly familar. "Oh, hey Nic. Haven't seen you since this s**t started." He walks up to Kate, "Yeah...sorry about puking on your stuff. I was in a lot of pain so I just grabbed whatever I could." Finally, he turned to Dave and asked, "Hey, you got any clothes here that can fit me? I need to wash my gear and shower. I reak of booze, vomit, and blood."

Faye grinned at Mia. "I'll get some rest in a littl-" She was cut off by Jake, who had been upstairs, sleeping, ever since they'd gotten to David's house. "Oh, hey, Jake...did you sleep okay? We got some new people while you were sleeping, too." She gestured to Andrew, then pointed in the direction of Nic and Jude.

Jake raised an eyebrow at Faye's new apparel, hiding a smirk, before his eyes fell upon Mia. He glanced her up and down, not realizing his jaw was pretty much on the floor. "H-hi-hi, M-mia..." he stuttered out, his ears turning a delicate red. Faye laughed slightly, smacking him in the shoulder, before turning back to Andrew.

"Alright does anyone here know anything about a tall man in a business suit cause he's the F***ING reason that I ended here."

Faye's eyes widened a small fraction. He's very blunt, isnt' he... Faye ran a hand through her dripping wet hair, and tugged on her tank top before looking back up at Andrew. "Actually, yes, everyone here knows about the Tall Man. And if you've seen him, you're lucky to be alive..."

"It's okay, Mike," said Kate, resting her head on the wall. It was the first time she actually didn't call him by either his last name or rank or any number of degrading adjectives. "I'm over it."

She seemed really down, waiting for the Overseer.

Andrew looked at Faye. She seemed nice but he wasn't in the mood.

"Lucky? I only know my name is Andrew and where I went to high school. I know nothing about my life other than that. I don't even know what day it is!"

His fists were rolled into a ball and he was glaring around the room.

"What the hell is that thing that brought me here?"

Gavin was worried about Faye but interrupted by the newest of the group. A high school kid who had a temper. He had to be about as old as Gavin. Then he yelled at Faye.

It took all of Gavin's self control to not go over there and knock him out. If he yelled at her again he would end up with a bloody face.

Mike saw this new hot-head as a threat to the solidarity of the group. He knew a way to chill him out...

"Hey...new-kid...Andrew..." he called and after getting his attention, he flipped him the bird. Seeing him get angry, he then said, "Aww...wha'sa matta witto gai, wanna punch Mike in the face?" He quickly threw a wink to everone in the room. "Come on, lets see some rage, kid..."

Mike threw up his fists but decided he would let the kid work out his anger. The usually ham-fisted Mike was trained in Judo (The art of using an attacker's energy and deflecting it away) but much preferred to brawl so he was a little rusty. He figured if the kid worked himself out physically, the mental part would also calm down.

Andrew looked the man who called himself Mike up and down. Military.

"Sorry but as I can see your miitary and I don't want a broken face today dumbass." he said with an arrogant smirk.

Then he realized he had just insulted the military man. What the hell was he doing? These people were kind to him and he was giving them a hard time.

"I'm sorry!" he blurted out. "I'm afraid. I don't know what's going on. Look can anyone here tell me what day it is?"

The enormous-framed man strode into the hosue casually beside Nik and Andrew, essentially towering over the newcomers. He looked around as everyone spoke, picking out who he could befriend and who might give him a hard time.

Mike seemed okay, a little dim-witted but generally the big brother of the group.

The little boy had a crush on the little girl, whatever their name's were. That made Jude laugh and he ribbed Nik with his elbow, pointing at them slightly. It wasn't meant to insult the two, just done out of playful curiosity.

There was Mia, the darker, myserious looking girl who he couldn't quite figure out. And then there was David, who seemed to be the mouth of the group. There was also a quiet, lanky guy who hadn't spoken one word since Jude showed up. Weird enough, he had white hair. Huh.

Then there was Kate, who seemed...out of it? Jude wasn't sure, but sensed that this woman was probably the easiest route in to the pseudo-family all of them had formed, seeing as Jude was an unwelcome intrusion into that. With one grisly finger, the man motioned to Nik that he would be right back, and strode off toward the wall Kate was leaned against.

Grinning a little bit, the dark haired, boy-ish bear of a man took a seat in a wooden chair next to Kate, and glanced over.

"So, uh...yer name's Kate, right? The name's Jude, how are ya'?"

"Well well well, kids got a mouth on him. Go ahead," Mike said, sticking out his chin, "One free swing. Call it a gift." Mike was willing to let the kid work out his agression, one way or the other. "No retaliation, give me one, right in the face!"

Mia turned away from the kid in the uniform to look at Jake, who had just come down from upstairs. "H-hi-hi, M-mia..." he stammered. She looked a little startled and bemused. "Um, hi Jake," she said with a slight laugh. Then she remembered what she was wearing. "Oh, yeah, this," she said, pulling at the skirt. Well, Mike threw up on my pants, so.... Oh, before that, though, Terrence ripped my shirt." She shrugged. "You gotta do what you can, I guess."

She turned toward the people who had just walked into the group, for once not annoyed by Mike trying to pick a fight with the school kid, and looked at the extremely tall man who seemed to be evaluating them all. He walked over to Kate and began talking to her. Three newcomers at once, it was a bit overwhelming.


She turned back towards Mike and the new kid. "Yeah, hit him," she said jokingly.

Gavin glanced at the man who had walked in as he pointed at Gavin and Faye.

What the-? Then Gavin realized what he was saying and blushed sliding slightly away from Faye. He didn't know if she would even like him and didn't want to put her in an awkward situation.

Andrew grew wide eyed.

"No please I'm sorry. Look I'll leave if it makes you guys feel better...It's just....I...uh...well uh...." he began to stammer and eventually broke down.

He stood there crying slightly.

"I just don't understand what's going on I want answers, I'm sorry." He glanced at a calender marked with X's and saw the date. One week had passed since he was last awake.
