"Well if you come in wanting answers but start yelling at everyone here and insulting people, no one will want to help you," Mia said to the kid. "We don't know everything about what we're fighting either, but we've all had run-ins with that tall guy in the business suit. Now, what's your name? What do you need help with?"

Andrew couldn't focus on what the girl Mia was saying he was looking at the calender. He walked over to it. His hands shaking violently as they touched the calender.

"I-Is this c-correct? If so I d-d-disappeared for a week." He slid down to the floor his hands on his face. He was in misery.

Mia sighed as the boy ignored what she was saying and went over to the calendar. "I-Is this c-correct? If so I d-d-disappeared for a week," she heard him say. She walked over to him as he slid to the floor. "Yeah, that tends to happen," she said. "He does a lot of messed-up stuff. He's erased people's memories...hell, mine is gone completely." She looked at him, shaking, hands over his face. She sighed again. "I'll go get you some water. I'll be right back." She walked away.

Mike spit, paying no mind to the hardwood floor. "Shame kid, you and me coulda been friends. Oh well, I guess not everyone works out their stress like I do." He walked over and patted him on the back. He flashed Mia a look that he meant to convey "Keep an eye on him. He goes crazy, have the pipe ready." but could be read differently.

"Disappeared? Huh. Well, I'm not the brightest one here so I'ma let you guys figure it out. Dave, Kate, Mia, and faye are pretty smart. I'm sure they can help ya. Dave, I'm stealing some clothes and a towel. Oh, and hi-jacking your laundry room." he says as he goes off to shower.

Mia saw Mike shoot her a look as they walked away from the kid. He ran past her to go shower, leaving her slightly confused. What was that look for? she wondered. She shook herself slightly and got a glass of water for the kid, bringing it back out.

"Now, are you going to listen?" she said, holding the glass out to him.

Gavin kept his mind off the kid by keeping his mind on the new guy Jude. Was it really necessary for him to look at me like that? What if Faye had seen? That would've been embarrassing.

He gulped. He looked at Faye and again noticed her outfit. He couldn't help it. There was no other word but Beautiful to describe her look. He shook his head and looked away.

Andrew took the glass his hands shaking and took a sip. He had gotten off on the wrong foot with this girl.

"Y-yes and I'm really sorry I'm just afraid." He put his shaking hand forward hoping she would help him up.

"It's fine," Mia said, grabbing his hand and pulling him to his feet. "Just chill out, okay? No one here is going to hurt you. We'll keep each other safe."

Mike was a simple man who enjoyed simple plaesures. Sure, he enjoyed himself some Transformers and the arcade back at the base, but three things trumped everything else. Nice hot showers was number two. Fights were the first. Making himself stronger was a distint third. He removed Dave's toothbrush holder from the toilet and turned on the shower.

He sighed and enjoyed the hot water and embraced the steam. He only wished he had found Dave's closet first. Meh, oh well. He'd put on a towel and figure it out later. For now, he was happy to wash the blood and vodka from his hair. He took great care around the gash in his head but still managed to wash up most of it. Finally clean, he helped himself to some grooming supplies.

Kate looked at the tall, built man who had sat near her. Looked like a damn cowboy.

For some reason, she just felt really out of it suddenly. "Jude, hm?" she murmured. She cleared her throat, pushing some hair back behind her ear, incidentally making her scar more obvious. "Corporal Katherine Connors, but yeah, you can call me Kate."

She realized then that he had asked her how she was. "Oh, I'm...fine, I guess," she answered, sighing. "That's the Overseer," she added after, pointing at the guy in the gas mask. "He seems a little out of it right now so don't mind him."

Andrew was quiet. He was trying to prove he wasn't all that bad...... well he was kind of an asshole. But he wanted to apologize.

"Um, look I just wanna understand what that thing is. I have no idea where I am, I officially disappeared for a week. I don't even know where I was, and all I know is my name is Andrew and that a monster is terrorizing this town.

He waited anxiously to get some answers. What would they know about the monster?

Faye had been distracted by the new boy, so she hadn't noticed the new, cowboy-like man pointing at her and Gavin. Pushing her slowly drying hair out of her face, she gave the new boy, Andrew, a look full of pity. Was this thing just fucking around with anyone that crossed it's path? Tilting her head, she yawned, rubbing at her eyes, before crossing the room to talk to him.

She knew his arrogant attitude had probably rubbed some members of the group the wrong way, but Faye had an odd knack for understanding people, and realized it was just his defense mechanism. He can't remember the past week, for Chrissake's. That's...horrible. Not as bad as Mia, per se, but still...then again, I forgot about knowing David. This Tall One just enjoys making you forget things, doesn't it?

Rubbing a hand over the back of her neck, Faye sighed heavily, not sure where to start. "Well, I don't know how long the thing's been here, because I've been away at college, but Terrence here," she indicated the white haired man with a jerk of her head in his direction, "Seems to know alot about him. We call him things like The Tall Man, S-Man, Tall One, and....well Mike calls him mutherfucka alot." She grinned slightly, then continued. "He has some helpers, one with face paint, the other with a mask...I've only seen him twice or so, though...We set him on fire the first time, but we didn't come away...unscathed."

At that, Faye twisted slightly, pointed to the bruise, visible across her lower back and shoulders past her tank top. A wry smile twisted her face, "Basically, he's bad news, but, I'm sure the others can tell you more than I can. They've had...more experience with him than my brother Jake and I."

Mike wrapped a towel around his waist and tied it off. He grabbed his gear, removed everything from them and stepped out of the bathroom. He quickly put them in a washer he found and fired it up. Then, he walked out to ask Dave where the clothes were.

Being used to barrack's life, he thought nothing of strolling out in nothing but a towel. If "Beef Cake" was in the dictionary, next to it would be a picture of Mike McManus. Almost pure muscle, clearly his years of fighting and working out had paid off. Plus, the punishment of uniform-less outdoor push-ups and sit-ups invoked by the Sarge had given him a nice all-over tan. The only oddity was, on his left shoulder, an Autobot insignia tatoo.

"Hey guys, anyone got spare clothes?"

Kate looked up to see Mike clad in nothing but a towel. She didn't seemed disturbed by this at all. "Least you actually look like a soldier underneath your uni," she chuckled at him. "Oh, shit, there's running water here? A shower would be great right now," she murmured, pushing off from the wall.

She smirked at him. "Nice tat, mine's bigger though."

She looked like she forgot Jude was even there. She was really out of it.

Gavin grew wide-eyed as Mike came walking in with nothing but a towel. There were girls here for godssake what the hell was he thinking? Gavin tried to focus on what Faye was saying to the new-guy. She had a caring attitude in her voice, but still was a little funny.

He noticed though she'd never let it on, she was very tired. Her eyes were half-closed and she looked very slightly dazed. He whispered in her ear with a lot of worry.

"Please go to bed your exhausted."

Faye's eyes went as big around as dinner plates when Mike walked in, practically naked. Without even thinking, she blurted out, "MIKE! YOU'RE PRETTY MUCH NAKED! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!"

The blood rushed to her face and neck, turning both a delicate shade of red. She tried to avert her gaze, but before she could, she caught sight of his Autobots tattoo. Woooooow....then again, I have a tattoo of the Halo of the Sun from Silent Hill on my back...Guess I shouldn't be talking, eh? Smirking slightly, she added in on the conversation, cockily, "Yeah...but I bet mine is the coolest looking." Surprised at her own forwardness, she looked down at the floor. I'm NEVER that outgoing, with anyone besides Jake...

"Please go to bed your exhausted." Faye jumped slightly as Gavin whispered in her ear. Jake, who was within earshot, nodded, his agreement with Gavin obvious. Faye rolled her eyes at him jokingly, then looked at Gavin, smiling tiredly. "I guess I am a bit tired, eh?" she tried to joke, but it was obvious she was actually quite exhausted. "I don't want to stray too far though, so I'm going to go crash on the couch in the next room, okay?" Giving Gavin's arm a thankful pat, she pushed past him, into the living room, sprawling out on the couch. She was asleep before her head touched the couch cushions.
