Gavin sighed. Finally she listened to me. He gave a thankful look at Jake. He glanced at the new guy Jude. He wasn't on Gavin's good side.

Then he heard about the shower. I won't be able to get new clothes that'll fit me, but a shower would help calm me down

"I'm going in after you Kate!" he said exiting the garage. It was getting cramped in there. Faye was already asleep on the couch. He sat on the steps as Kate passed him. Faye looked so peaceful.

Andrew listened intently at Faye's response.

So I'm not the only one who's lost their memory here. He looked at the girl Mia who had forgotten everything a lot like him.

He walked over to her. "I'm sorry that you can't remember either." Then he noticed something. "Where'd you get those scars?" he asked.

Jake gave Gavin one of his rare smiles, grateful that the boy had helped get Faye to sleep. Faye was very headstrong, and a bit more apt to look after others instead of herself. Leaning against the wall, Jake surveyed the room, scuffing a hand through his short brown hair, eyes wary. Everything that Faye was, Jake was the opposite. Where Faye would have been trying to talk to and look after everyone in the room, Jake was more of the silent type. He got an accurate impression of people through watching them unnoticed, rather than talking to them face to face.

Rubbing his bicep, where the bullet wound he'd acquired earlier was hidden under his sleeve and bandages, Jake's stomach grumbled. He scowled at his own stomach, willing it to be quiet.

Gavin called out something about a shower, and Jake quietly claimed the shower after Gavin, and decided that after he'd had HIS shower, he'd wake Faye up so she could take one. She'd likely be awake before then, though. Faye had issues with insomnia, especially under stress. And if this situation wasn't stress-inducing, Jake didn't know what was.

Kate decided to do it later. "Screw it, it can wait," she mumbled, resting against the wall again.

"So, Jude, right, what do you want?" she asked the cowboy.

Nik smiled a bit on the inside when Jude pointed out the two younger people who seemed to like each other a bit more then just friendship. She nodded when she took his leave over to Kate instantly recognizing Mike when he came out as the 'man with the plan'(page3, Magus' last post).

"Hullo Mike." She greeted, not very enthusiastically at that. She flinched at a thunder crack, sighing, then leaned against the wall, rubbing her temples.

So out of it, she forgot about mentioning her tattoo. "Hey, Mike, you want to see my tat?" she smirked.

Mke was confused by some of the reactions but let it go quickly.

"Sure, lets see it, Kate."

Gavin, realizing Kate wasn't going to go in the shower yet went ahead grabbing a spare towel. He took off his clothes and went in very fast. It had been a long day. He let the water soak his face.

He was going to put on dirty clothes anyway so he wasn't cleaning. Just letting it sooth him. After a few minutes he got out and quickly dried off putting on his clothes even though he had done a bad job drying. His clothes got a little wet but he ignored it.

He came back down but still wasn't ready to go in with everyone again, so he sat on the stairs and looked at Faye. I may be considered a pervert for watching someone sleep but frankly I don't care.

Kate turned and tugged at her tank top, pulling up just the back, exposing her tattoo. It was a huge, black dragon, swirling up her back with its mouth open at the base of her neck. Flames extended out from its mouth, reaching almost her hair. "Like it?" she smiled, glancing back, not realizing that she was exposing quite a lot of skin.

The dragon didn't start off at the bottom of her beck, it reached up from far lower, from her legs.

Mike was impressed. "That...is fricken AWESOME! Who was your artist?"

"I got this in Miami, you know Miami Ink?" she asked, pulling down her tank top. "Where'd you get yours?" she smirked, satisfied knowing her tattoo was awesome.

Andrew's entire face went red as Kate exposed most of her back showing a tattoo. He had a tat of a spider on his arm but he wasn't going to show it.

Really a seventeen year old shouldn't have a tattoo. He had paid the man who'd given it to him......Holy crap! I remembered something. Maybe not very important but it's a start.

He smiled looking around at these people. Looks like I'll be rolling with them for a while.

Jake poked his head in to check on Faye, and noticed Gavin sitting, wet from his shower, on the steps, watching her. Choosing not to comment, he smiled slightly, heading for the bathroom. I bet Faye hasn't even noticed yet. She's rather oblivious about people liking her, even when I have to beat back boys with a baseball bat. I like Gavin, though I'll have to give him the 'threatening older brother' speech later, won't I...

Once inside the bathroom, Jake peeled off his dirty, grime streaked clothing, stepping under the warm stream of water from the shower head. He quickly washed off, not wanting to waste all the hot water in the house. Stepping out of the shower, he scowled, realizing he needed clean clothes. David looks about my size... He mused for a moment, then pulled on his jeans, poking his head into the gathering just in time to see Kate showing off her tattoo. He nearly fell over, ears burning. He tried to compose himself, then stepped into the main area, not awkward about his lack of a shirt. Jake had been really into baseball, so he had a lean, if somewhat muscular, build. At least he'd had the dignity to wear jeans...unlike Mike. "David, d'you think I could borrow some clothes?" He scratched his shoulder, the bandage on his arm itchy.

Faye began to drift into dreams, images of grinning, faceless men and bloody carcasses....probably Gavin's parents. Fitful, she rolled slightly on the couch, making a slight whimpering noise, her calm face turning slightly fearful in sleep. Masked men jumped out at her from behind trees, causing her to flinch back. Thud. She hit the ground with a muffled thump, the movement jostling her back into wakefulness. She rubbed her eyes, feeling slightly more rested than before, not noticing Gavin on the stairs behind her.

Gavin had nearly fallen asleep just sitting there. Until he heard a giant thump. He snapped out of it and jumped off the step he was sitting on making his own Thump.

What happened? What's going on? Is she hurt?

Mike, having essentially been raised on the base, had a different perspective when it came to clothing. It was not uncommon that girls and guys would not segregate as much as some thought and he'd seen the back of lots of girls without really much thought.

Even he, however, turned a little red.

"Well, my tat was done on base. Nothin' special. I just like Transformers." he said with a grin. Then, he heard a thud.

"What the hell...?" he said. Worried, he took off towards the sound. Unfortunately, his towel decided to untie as he started to run and he had to stop dead in his tracks to cover himself. "Gahh?!?! Quick, someone check on that and someone kick that towel back over here!"

Kate laughed a little at Mike, though, even she blushed a little, and tossed him back his towel while going to check on what the thud was. "I'll be back in just a minute, Jude," she said, jogging over to the living room.

"Hey, what was the sound, everything okay in here?" she asked, patting out her tank top, seeing it was still showing off some of her skin.
