Katherine Connors turned completely beet red when she felt Mike's lips peck hers. His eyes were closed when he did it, but she didn't notice.

Her mind was blank. She hadn't done anything like this all of her life. This was completely new territory to her. Military training didn't prepare you for this shit!

"Uh-muh-guh-um-uh," she mumbled incoherently, feeling like an idiot. She didn't know what to do except... Kiss him back?

With some hesitation, she pulled him toward her by the collar, one hand wrapping around the back of his head to pull him closer as she pressed a soft kiss to his lips.

Calm down David it was probably just a friendly kiss. So he stopped doing pullups and headed back to where they were at. He growled like a beast when he saw that bit of kissing going on between them and ran back to the garage to to even angrier pullups. "..5...6...7"

Mike was frozen. One minute, this woman was threatening him, then they were burying dead people, next they were locked in a kiss. However, even Mike knew what to do here. He wrapped his arms around and kissed back.

Katherine hummed a little to herself, a smile working its way to her lips as she felt his arms wrap around her waist. She let go of his collar and wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him down so she could kiss him.

Interesting turn of events, Kate. Interesting turn of events..., she thought, pressing herself against him.

"Mm," she hummed again.

((forgot to say that David turned the car stereo back on, so theres loud metal playing in the garage))

Mike stopped and broke away when he heard loud rock music blasting.

"Huh...?" he asked.

Woken back up to reality, he shook his head. "Frick." He looked at Kate. "The kid. We...we should...resume this later." He said with a nervous grin. "We still need to take Gavin out."

Kate shook herself out of her stupor and looked up at Mike. "Right, mm, your right, uh, let's go do that," she agreed, turning toward the stairs. She turned back around, remembering about her uniform.

"My uni, hold on," she said, jogging over the dryer and taking out her jacket. She put back her rank and whatnot before putting it on, feeling very warm on her. "I'm going to die from the heat if I wear all this," she mumbled, taking off her jacket. She stripped herself of David's AC/DC shirt and put back on the jacket, feeling normal again.

With a toss, she left the shirt on the dryer and joined Mike. "R-right, let's go down there," she said with an awkward smile, feeling a little shy around him now.

Gavin saw the thing going on between Kate and Mike and looked away embarrassed and.....what? Suddenly he walked towards the front door rosey red in the cheeks hoping no one else saw what happened between the two upstairs.

He walked into the rain and towards the tree again. Jealous. He'd never even told Faye he liked her and yet in just a few hours Mike and Kate were kissing. He sat down. I've been an idiot.

"...74...75...76..." Goddamn it, its like my third year in the rangers again. "Gotta keep doing pullups or i'll start breaking shit. ... 77...78...79"

They were about to descend the stairs but Katherine grabbed Mike's hand, pulling him back to press a peck to his lips, making her smile. "Okay, now let's go," she smirked, rubbing her thumb against his knuckles before letting go.

Strange day indeed.

Faye noticed that Terrence had come to stand next to her, and looked up at him, nearly cricking her neck doing so. Faye vaguely noticed that Terrence's cheeks were red. Humming gleefully to herself, she grinned at him, wondering what he was thinking about that was embarrassing him. She'd come to regard him as a sort of older brother, and treated him as such.

Absorbed as she was in trying to snoop on Kate and Mike, Faye didn't notice for a couple of minutes that Gavin was gone. When she did, she panicked a bit, glancing around a couple of times before realizing he must've gone outside. Intending to grab him a towel from the kitchen, since he'd be getting wet standing out in the rain, Faye gave Terrence a quick smile before heading back towards the kitchen, picking up a towel on her way. She passed through the garage, pausing as she saw David doing push-ups.

She knew that they'd always been his way of dealing with stress, and he was obviously quite distraught. As she passed him, she looped her arm around him in a quick hug, before heading out towards the tree Gavin was under, rain quickly re-soaking her hair and clothes.

"What do you think they were doing? They would have said if they found someone, or if either of them got hurt...."

Jake snapped back to attention, having been lost in his own thoughts for a few minutes. He looked at Mia, thinking over his answer before saying, "...Do you think when they went to Gavin's house....they did something with the bodies? They couldn't have been hurt, and if someone had attacked, they'd have been alert for more assaults...." He rubbed a hand through his hair, a nervous thinking habit, before casting his gaze around the room, noticing Faye had gone.
Where'd she g---ah, she followed Gavin outside. I'll leave them be, then...

He suddenly glanced at Mia, a devilish smile dancing across his lips. "What do you say we go find Mike and Kate, and ask them, okay?" Without waiting for a response, he scooped Mia up easily, trotting up the stairs, towards the bathroom Mike had presumably gone to in order to put his clothing back on.

"...84...86...86," David roared to get vent some of his emotions, "little better,...87...88...89." he then felt Faye hug him which help calm him down a bit. "thanks....90." She was the only person left alive that could calm him down when his moods took over.

Gavin looked up to see a slightly worry-stricken Faye running towards him as he sat on the ground getting drenched. Still he gave a small smile.

"What are you doing out here? Your getting soaked." he was actually glad she came. He was always glad to see her. Always.
