Perhaps might be worth peopel putting a list of where they are so peopel could meet up in relative cities / car share even - put location up then discuss via pms?

I think it would be easier to do that sort of thing on the tron wiki (tron.wikibruce.com), as people can edit in locations / willingness to rideshare. (Something similar is done for ARGFest every year with hotel arrangements)

If I understand what you are doing here, I think it's wrong. Each individual column is 8-4-2-1. Since it's a clock, the numbers go from 59-0 for minutes and seconds, and 23-0 for hours.

Perhaps this will help illustrate what i mean:
88 88 88 88
44 44 44 44
22 22 22 22
11 11 11 11

To interpret the clock, use the following representation:
Code:
    Days    Hours   Mins    Secs
    10s 1s  10s 1s  10s 1s  10s 1s
8s    0  0    0  0    0  0    0  1
4s    0  0    0  0    0  1    1  0
2s    0  1    0  0    1  1    0  0
1s    0  1    1  1    1  0    0  1
__________________________________
      0  3    1  1    3  6    4  9

or
Code:
3 Days, 11 Hours, 36 Mins, 49 Secs

That was what it said when I checked.

I can then use those 4 values in the VB script I posted earlier to tell me exactly when the countdown will end in this timezone on this machine.

Code:
D = inputbox("Enter Days",,0)
H = inputbox("Enter Hours",,0)
M = inputbox("Enter Minutes",,0)
S = inputbox("Enter Seconds",,0)
Msgbox("In " & D & " days, " & H & " hours, " & M & " minutes and " & S & " seconds..." & Chr(13) & Chr(10) & "The date and time will be: " & Now() + D + (H / 24) + (M / 1440) + (S / 86400))

It still ends at 8am Pacific on the 24th, for me (and 42 Entertainment).

I could post a JS page, but with my JS foo, that would take me like an hour to do. Any of you JS geeks wanna throw one up real quick?

New to unifiction

Hey folks, I am new to unifiction, but have been following the Flynn Lives campaign for some time now. I live in the Boston area and have listed my name on the Wiki page. I work alot, but am planning to take the day off on Weds just in case something happens.

As for Orlando, we have 3 IMAX theaters that I know of. 4 If you count the one at the Kennedy Space Center, where I watched star trek this summer.
There is an AMC IMAX on Disney property though with a good size shopping center right there to hold a scavenger hunt. I could find something at the base of the House Of Blues water tower right across the walkway. Or Planet Hollywood, the magic shop, or even the art gallery.
This could be real fun if done right. I won't get out of work until almost 5 PM but I'll be right there. I'll Just have to be prepared and take my bit to work with me. Rolling Eyes

The theater at Downtown Disney is IMAX?

A scavenger hunt in Downtown Disney would be all sorts of awesome.

The one in downtown disney is LieMAX. But perhaps since this time around since Disney is behind this theyll do it there. That would be awesome cuz i have a disney pass with free parking haha. But usually they do it in Hollywood or at the Irvine Spectrum.

Uh, yeah - there's no IMAX in Downtown Disney's Pleasure Island 24 AMC Theater. Over on I-Drive at Pointe Orlando is the location of the big IMAX theater. That end of I-Drive would make for an interesting scavenger hunt too, but somehow I don't think that's quite what they have in mind. (Well, at least I hope they are a tad more original than that.)

The image on the zerohour page with the list is 4489, and that just doesn't seem like a nice round number. I'm thinking there's at least going to be a 4490, maybe even a 4500 or even 5000 by the time it's all done.

Meanwhile, I now have the 25th Anniv. Edition of Tron on DVD. It's a wonderful thing. Bit makes several appearances, and for a character that only says Yes and No, it sure makes for a good comic relief character. I hope they work Bit into the new film.

According to

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&oe=UTF8&msa=0&msid=113621990356540393221.000469b6c5915161c3667

Raleigh, NC has an actual, non LieMAX screen, so look for IMAX theaters

weird google cache reveals codes but they are not accepted now

http://74.125.93.132/search?q=cache:E6nLPubef4UJ:www.flynnlives.com/derez/+derez&cd=11&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&client=firefox-a

all it leads to is the test footage again, of course this could be update on wed now that we are supposed to be finding this.

yep, tried the old codes and they are all stating invalid, so there may be brand new codes tomorrow. But the derez site is already known to give us the first trailer.

With locations, this could end up being another Flynn's Arcade type scavenger hunt deal. If the locations are revealed at 11am EST, that would give enough time for people to get to the locations for later at night... Cool Very Happy
