Kate never liked sugar coating things and it seems Mike didn't want to say it outright, so she did.

"We buried your parents' bodies so they could have a final resting place, no person deserves to stay the way they were. Now, we were thinking you should come with us to say a final goodbye to them, without having to see them like how they were inside your home."

Mike was a little shocked Kate was so blunt about it but, then again. She was a fricken Ranger. She dealt with dead folk a lot more than he did. 'Course, this wasn't your typical "Bullet in a body" situation. This was people opened up in ways limited only to the nightmares of more people.

He was glad, however, that shy was so easily able to spit out what he wanted to convey.

Gavin stood there in awe. That's where they'd been. All that time. They were across the street at my house digging? Gavin began to cry and bent over.

"Th-Thank you guys s-s-so much. That really m-means a lot."

He walked over and hugged Kate knowing it was uncomfortable for her and not caring and shook Mike hands. He truly did have a new family now

Kate was frozen still for a moment from the hug and grimaced a little. She patted him once on the back and faked a smile. "A-a hand shake like you gave Mike is just as fine, Gavin," she blurted out, extremely uncomfortable with the touchiness.

Mike wasn't used to physical contact. Wait, scratch that...physical contact outside of fighting. To have the kid shake his hands was both comforting and confusing. Sure, he thought of his friends here like family but for this muscle head, he hadn't had a "family" since grade school. Everything was foreign to him. He was glad the kid took this well. Above all else, that was what mattered. He helped someone. Him. Mike the fighter. But...he couldn't have done it alone. HE stole a quick glance at Kate.

"Huh..." Mike said, quietly. "Go figure." was all he could manage.

After an awkward moment, he motioned to Gav. "Well...I'm...I'm glad you are pleased. I was a little worried. We got this marker, here. Wanna...wanna write their names and head over?"

Gavin realized Faye and David were outside talking about personal business.

"Uh lets hold on a second. I need to regain myself here." he sniffed. then he glanced around, "hey where is Andrew?"

"I don't know, we were upstairs...talking," she murmured quickly. "Anyways, yeah, take your time. Do you want us to gather everyone so we can go pay our respects?" asked Kate, happy that Gavin was touching her anymore.

She rubbed her hands awkwardly, still feeling the ghost sense of blood on her hands.

It'll pass. It always passes.

Gavin grinned.

"Yeah, uh explain it all. Let's focus on finding Andrew since we know where almost everyone else is."

He headed upstairs.

Andrew listened to the sound of the rain and would not be distracted. It was soothing to watch and listen to from the seat by the window.

Andrew fell asleep again.

Crap how do I explain it to her? It was a few minutes before David spoke. "Ever since i got my memories back, there's been emotions from back then that i didn't know I had crawling to the surface. What i saw made 'em explode." He rubbed his temples, fighting back a rage induced migraine, "I'm almost upset now as i as when my sister died, you and Carmen were the only people who could calm me down from one of my moods."

Remmy stopped when he reached what were the outskirts of the town. It was getting late. He looked and saw a abandoned building and took cover. It looked like no one had used it in a while. He went up stairs, and took shelter in the master bed room. He propped his supplies on the bed, and looked in the night stand. Luckly he found a old revolver inside a fake bible. Picking it up, he decided it would be better than his current gun, and put the deagle in its place. He grabbed some beef jerky from his pack and began to eat.

Faye reached out and gave Dave a pat on the shoulder, face worried, not quite sure how to react. He wasn't telling the whole truth, but she knew better than to push David too far. A drop of water dripped from her wet hair onto his seat, and she grimaced a bit. "Shit, sorry, don't wanna ruin the upholstery."

Pulling herself back into a standing position, Faye brushed back her bangs, which were clinging to her forehead. Shivering, she looked up at the sky, deciding she'd better go inside before she dissolved into a puddle of water. She was already soaked to the bone. Leaning down, she raised an eyebrow at David, then said, "You may want to come inside soon...it's not really safe to be alone, D."

Striding back into the garage, she came across Terrence, a few rooms over. He looked a bit angry, and tense. "Terrence?" she asked, not wanting to startle him. "You okay?"

Jake felt Mia squeeze his hand, and he gave her a shy grin, still flushed. He looked up, surprised, when Mike and Kate told Gavin about what they'd been doing. He finally realized why Kate's hands had been blood spattered when she'd come inside. They'd been burying Gavin's parents. His surprise was fairly obvious on his face, and Jake wished he'd thought of that. It was a surprisingly sweet gesture on Mike and Kate's parts, and he was glad they'd done it.

Blue eyes flashing in her direction, Terrence peered at his friend, Faye, with mild relief and exassperation all at once. It had been such a stressful day, the large man was beginning to wish he could merely go back to sleep. But, he had a family to protect, now, and...

'Not you. Never you...'

Those words echoed in his mind, disallowing him from getting any truly restful sleep. He sighd as Faye spoke up, the weight of the day's events pressing down hard on the antisocial adult's mind.

"You okay?"

She asked so sweetly, Terrence felt obliged to answer. He motioned for Faye to sit down, doing so himself on the edge of what he had decided was his bed. He didn't care if anyone else laid claim to this room prior to his entering it, he was tired and, admittedly, a little grumpy.

"Not r-really...so much ahs happened since I wok-woke today...I've just had an experience I b-b-believe to be relatd to The Tall One, not to mention Mike and K-Kate kiss-kissing like that...and n-now, even David seems angry with me..." He sighed again, sprawling out on the bed dejectedly. He needed this. Venting was not something he often did, but when he did, it meant a lot, both in respect to who he was venting to and for what reason. He never vented unless he truly trusted someone.

Faye obeyed Terrence's gesture to sit, perching on the end of the bed next to Terrence, pulling her legs up to her chest and resting her chin on her knees, wrapping her arms around her legs. Grinning ruefully as he admitted that Kate and Mike kissed. 'Bout damn time....

Faye waited until Terrence had seemingly finished, then gave him a rueful look before saying, "First, what kinda experience did you have? And why do you think it was related to the tall one?"

Staring blankly at the ceiling, Terrence blinked a few times before answering, letting a meditative state come over him. He found this very peaceful and calming, especially in the prescence of a good friend.

"You are aware of T-The Tall One's minions...those m-m-monsters." He spat the words somewhat, his loathing of the two Tall One apprentice's shining through. "The reson I connect my experience t-to The Tall One is because it w-was something I have only ever seen ha-happen in...The Masked M-Man."

Sighing uncomfrotably, his blue eyes shut to keep out the world for a brief moment. When he reopened them, it was merly to continue this tale to Faye.

"M-my eyes forced themselves o-open, spun wi-wildly in my head, while my body was frozen completely...I d-do not undertsand why..."

David backed the Corvette into the garage, "She was was oblivious to when guys liked her. Would have told her but i get to nervous." He turned the engine off, stuck his legs out the window, put his hands behind his head and closed his eyes. Now would be a good time to take a rest.
