Now that would be an interesting TTA video.

Dammit, Jay. Do something before you become the worst protagonist I've ever heard of. You're already close >_>

So in my Modern Literature class for some reason the teacher started presenting some videos about quantum physics.

When an electron is fired at two slits in a board, if it is observed it does something different than if it is unobserved. If it is observed it acts like matter -- if it is not, it acts like a wave, a "wave of probabilities" or something to that effect. Cool stuff, and I thought it might relate to MH to some degree. (Here's a kind of lulzy video explaining what I'm talking about!)

Maybe observing Slenderman -- that is, videotaping him -- limits what he can and cannot do to some degree. Takes away his choice of possibilities. If he's being observed he has to adhere more closely to the rules of reality as we understand them, but if he's not being recorded or watched, he can do stranger things. This might explain his disappearance from Alex's room. He only disappeared once he was off-camera. He opened the door physically while on camera, but how did he get into the house in the first place? And where did he go once he was off-camera? Alex was asleep and unable to observe him, so maybe he was freed from having to function under limited rules once he'd moved through the camera's range. Quantum physics seems to make possible a lot of things that we consider to be pretty crazy.

I admit I know very little about quantum physics, but the idea that being observed literally changes what Slendy can and cannot do might explain much of why it's so important to Alex to have a tape on him all the time. If Slendy is functioning under more limited rules once observed, he might be easier to escape!

tl;dr: YEY QUANTUM PHYSICS

That is right fucked up.

But if it's true, that makes him so much more nightmare fuel than I ever really thought. D: Thank god he's not actually real, yuck!

I just had a very strange thought while waiting for totheark, and I wanted to ask here before I go adding it to my list of crazy theories and investigate. It might have already been discussed, but I honestly don't remember so feel free to trout me into oblivion. Has anyone looked at the specific times/dates of totheark's posts, both by themselves and in relation to the Entries they respond to? I wonder if there's some significance...I'm bored enough, and it'd give me something to do. :/

Do it! Compile a list and toss them up right here! I am busy with school stuff but I'd love to see it!

I like it...almost like Slendy is a much more frightening version of the ghosts from Super Mario 3.

It does kind of go hand-in-hand with TTA's "Open Your Eyes" comment in Warning...saying that Slender Man is capable of so much more than we can see in the physical realm...and Jay needs to open his eyes to the possibilities.

Or...just turn around in time and make Slendy cover his eyes so he can put on his raccoon costume and fly to the warp whistle. One of the two.

Jay and Alex with Mario and Luigi mustaches would be gold. XD

I apologize in advance for any/all lack of quality, this was a little more in-depth than I originally intended. As such, I shall make a better version with more information, once I've eaten something and possibly gotten some sleep. I hope this helps in the meantime.
