Still reading through it all, but holy crap, nice work! *high five* Where would you like your internets delivered, ma'am?

Oh hush you, I deserve no internets. *blush* It's just a rough draft: I want to have a guide with in-depth coverage of each entry, possible connections, etc. done sometime this weekend: today, if I can manage it. Actually, you have quite a collection of sound files, or so I hear. Might I trouble you for some in the future? If I can tie some of the "missing audio" into the videos they are missing from, that'd be a great addition to the guide, and I feel that at least one of the TTA videos contains said missing audio.

for TTA's comparison between videos, you have in brackets (2 days) when it should be (2 weeks). That's about it!

Still looking good! I would be tickled if you could find the ce gars posts over at Something Awful and add them into the mix. I'm hearing folks over there mentioning Jay actually posting to SA (makes sense, they don't have the same 'NO PUPPETEERS!' rule there that they do here!) and I would really like to know when and where he hinted that Tim's medication was a memory enhancer. >_> Couldn't find it myself. That could also be because I didn't dig too hard.

Also, for sound files I don't actually have them, but I'll start ripping them. ^_^ Good thing about having an animation class is that they point us towards all of the good software to snag for sounds and video capture!

That would be incredibly useful!!! If anyone has information from other related sites, especially if said information is dated and/or timestamped, it'd be most helpful if you could send it my way, with the link to where you found it. I haven't actually been on SA myself yet, but I'll go snoop around and see what I can find. I'll also be sure to add a "credits" section to the 2nd edition so all you helpful people get recognized Very Happy

Here are all of the TTA sound files as .wav's, hope that's okay. It's a large zip file, around 56 megs!

As for ce gars posts, here's one:
http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3207172&userid=0&perpage=40&pagenumber=49
(Gotta find his name, it's partways down the page)

http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3150591&userid=129681 here's the one linked from the trailhead index.

Dunno if there are more, yet! Probably not... Jay doesn't seem all that chatty lately!

If I haven't made this abundantly clear already, I SERIOUSLY think I love you. Very Happy You are made of more win than should ever be in one place at one time, let alone contained in one human being. This is a HUGE help, thanks!!!! ^_^

Hopefully someone can make heads or tails of it. Could add it to the wiki, also!

I just had a very strange thought while waiting for totheark, and I wanted to ask here before I go adding it to my list of crazy theories and investigate. It might have already been discussed, but I honestly don't remember so feel free to trout me into oblivion. Has anyone looked at the specific times/dates of totheark's posts, both by themselves and in relation to the Entries they respond to? I wonder if there's some significance...I'm bored enough, and it'd give me something to do. :/

Tried this with the number of days he takes to respond. If we consider the 91 days as a space then you get.

CCBBECIECKGAS(SPACE)F

If you can get something out of that, more power to you

Edit: I never really looked at the times though, your handy compilation thing looks like a winner as far as investigation tools go.

thoughts
...

had some thoughts while watching the videos.

the water bottle in that closet was so like the one that was in entry 17. coincidence or not?

also, there was that entry 20. the painting. may it be important too? it was said that Brian had an excellent taste and then that they didn't know where Brian was - maybe it used to belong to him, but where is it now? there was a bit of distortion while the painting was shown too.

also from entry 20 - the distortion appears when they talk of the new script and show it - so if J has the tapes, may someone have the scripts and papers and what if some information was there too?

now, TTA's Signal video. it was said somewhere on youtube that those were fragments from some old movie. maybe there's something about that movie that could help? i think the voice there mentioned "something cold, something sleepy" - well, the ones being involved in this story are often feeling cold and strange things happen to J when he sleeps.

I'm almost certain this has been said, but

I'm starting to think that the heavy distortion (the kind that makes everything impossible to hear) was done intentionally, maybe to "censor" important information.

The same thing goes for the removed audio. I'm thinking that the tapes J received were heavily edited by Alex.

Pretty sure that those have been mentioned in their various episode entries as well as further back in this thread.

...Though it'd be interesting if the reason that we never hear from Sarah again is because she always seemed to need to have a copy of the script on her. (Then again, that could be because she was getting brainscrubbed every time she memorized it, aside from the fact that she seemed like she was acting badly. XD)

Just starting following this yesterday on a recommendation from the Cloverfield Unfiction forums.

I must say it's well done, and pretty captivating. I like how pretty much stays focused on Youtube with just two accounts and a twitter.

The "Slender Man" is spooky, the house is deranged, and the story continues pretty well. I think it should wrap up soon, or at least provide some answers.

I don't really have any additional theories or thoughts, except I notice the closet in house seems to change on each visit, but other than that, I'll keep watching.

...Ha ha, looks like Jay is more interested in keeping up with things that TTA right now, Jay signing in and twating, and TTA being AFK for the last couple of weeks. Wonder if TTA is playing hard to get at this point?
