I give you mad props man, I was there at 419, so no matter what I was too late, but a close 2nd. Although I think you will agree with me you were shocked it was in Tempe and not Phoenix. I was planning on the drop to be at some other sites in Phoenix, especially CastlesnCoasters, because that fit the bill of all the other sites, and this was at the game section of a movie theater.

Dude, my cutoff locale was going to be C&C, anywhere further west and I wouldn't have tried. I spared myself an anyerism though, when it said "East Elliot, Tempe" I literally thought "I might have a chance! OMGOMGOMG". I fully expected Phoenix; had googlemaps opened with C&C, GameWorks, and Dave & Buster locations up and ready to go. Even had my wife on standby to redirect once I was on the road!

As I said before, I'll definitely stick around for any further ops. If I had known I could have hooked up others with the two extra codes, I would have certainly done so.

madopal-I wonder if we could pool the numbers together? I'll scan mine and post them up shortly, maybe between that and the lightcycle codes we can figure if there is something to be found in conversions to hex, base10, binary, something...

You and I were the same that day then, I just couldn't believe they waited till 4pm to do Phoenix. But this won't be the last drop, so I know I will get a phone sometime. Your good in my book buddy.

Hey, yeah, if anything else happens in phoenix, we should try to do some kind of meet up. If you're okay with it, we can tade phone numbers, send me a pm if yah want.

I've spent a chunk of time working on the codes this morning too, ran a bunch of the same stuff madopal did and came up with nothing. Also searched the strings for things like net, com, tron, flynn assuming they were rotated arbitrarily... and/or reversed.

One thing I did notice playing with the zero hour numbers:
http://www.flynnlives.com/zerohour.htm

There is no '9'. The number '6' is repeated on rows six and eleven. Not sure if anyone has noticed that before, but its a bit odd.

It was noted earlier in the thread, I believe. The original trading cards had a typo, and two cards were labeled '6'. They kept it for the game, apparently.

One of the better trailer reviews I've seen.

LA Tron event had a Q&A with the director and Steve Lisberger. Oh and we got to see the trailer twice. NYC Audience Fail!

I just heard they showed the trailer TWICE at the LA event AND a q&a with Joe Koskinski and Steve Lisberger. That's VERY odd since none of the other events thus far have done that.....

Sydney's screening is happening right NOW, btw.

Alright ladies and gentlemen, this is a "Get things back on track" post. We've gotten fairly derailed in the past few pages. Here's what needs to be done.

1. Possible codes in the URLs for the Lightcycle schematics.
2. Barcodes/Baudot/whatever those color bars mean in the schematics.
3. I'm thinking we really need to analyze the forums. There are clues there. We just haven't gotten them yet.

I think we need to come to terms with the fact that nothing of any real substance came out of the trailer screenings. The shirts can probably be safely disregarded, as can the phones from the first event, for the time being.

Let's stop arguing over seniority or whatever was going on back there and get back on track.

Agreed. I'd suspect that once we can get our hands on the footage from today and can analyze it, we can make progress with it. But there is no doubt in my mind that we were not expected to be able to take info from today. Unless you've been trained in the Renshaw technique (so you'd be able to memorize a very long string of alphanumerics in the blink of an eye) it wasn't happening. So, that said- I have a rather obvious question. Has anyone scoured the source info on the encom site yet?

I haven't systematically scoured, but I did try and hit every page on Friday, didn't see anything unusual.

That's how I came up with the portrait .jpg "anomaly"

Outside of that, correlation of real cities and the pulsating ones on the map is another task. The light cycle url's are my best guess for what we're missing.
