But what about the freaking TRAILER?

We'll get it when we're supposed to. We can't force them to upload it. Besides, it's entirely possible that we might not get it at all. They might only want it seen in 3D.
That's bullshit. A trailer for something like Piranha 3-D is one thing because it got delayed. This was shown in 5 cities today, will be in theaters EVERYWHERE with Alice next Friday, and it's not online yet. That's just stupid.

ummm.....If you don't like it...tough. There's nothing we can do about it. The trailer was a reward for making it through the live events. Sometimes you get swag. Sometimes you don't.

Seriously, you can't wait a few days for Alice? You can't wait a few days for it to be posted? Regardless of how cool it is, it's just a movie trailer.

Nothing too big. A few of us were just talking in chat. That's all.

I'm find, dude. I'm just VERY impatient. The fact that there's no derez codes to be discovered AT ALL is just bullshit on 42 Entertainment's part....

I think the point he's making, MOVIELORD, is they'll give us the trailer when they're ready. If we're missing something, and we don't find it, they'll lead us in the right direction so we do find it.

It's speculation that the /derez site will give us the new trailer, and I think we've created false hope by making the five city five code connection.

Chill out and wait.

Time observation
Time in the computer

Hey, went to the NY showing today, and finally signed up on here after having lurked for a while! Nice to meet a few of you in person!

Not sure if it's been discussed on here (and although this really isn't about solving any clues to the ARG) but here's an observation from the trailer:
Flynn's son say "It's been a long time," and Flynn replies, "You have no idea."

The implication is that time is experience differently inside the computer than in the "real-world." In the original TRON, Flynn was only "gone" for an instant from the real world, but subjectively experienced about an hour or so (if not much more) while in the computer.

Using very conservative calculations based on:

Code:
one second "gone" from the real world = one hour of subjective time

in twenty years that's

Code:
 60 sec x 60 min x 24 hrs x 365 days X 20 years =630720000 secs of real-world time

and

Code:
630720000 x 60 sec x 60 mins = 2270592000000 subjective seconds in the computer

That translates into

Code:
2270592000000 / 60 sec / 60 min / 24 hrs / 365 days / 20 years=
3600 YEARS of SUBJECTIVE TIME INSIDE THE COMPUTER!

And that is using the MOST conservative of estimates!
He could have actually experience ORDERS of MAGNITUDE more time than that!

COOL!

Um... maybe they don't have any plans to release it until it hits theaters? After all, it would make the event experience a little less meaningful if they could have just sat at home and watched the same thing anyways.

No, man. It's just how these things go. Having played 42's games before there tend to be downtimes. It's just like real life. It isn't all action, all the time. Sometimes you just sit on your ass and watch TV. You have to work on your patience.

Besides, we were never really told that there were going to be more codes on /derez. You just assumed.

But STILL, something's missing out of this. It just feels like something's either out of place or we're not looking in the right places....

Then go look. Everyone here isn't leaving, or anything. We're all working towards the same goal and there is no reason for anyone to get angry or impatient.

As I stated earlier, we have the strange URLs for the lightcycle schematics as well as the color bars on those pictures. I think some analysis still needs to be done on the FL discussion forums, as well.

I've checked all the new sites and have tried every conceivable combination of codes. NOTHING.

And yet, something just feels not right here....

Why don't you do it, then? I'm exhausted from all this searching...
