HI all found this from the "week Sponsored By:" link Too late to get in?
Definitely not. All puzzles thus far were 'prelimenary'. The 'big bang' isn't till March 1st. You'll probably want to skim through the thread to get some background info though.

I doubt the site has to do anything with BTYC. It was registered back in 2005 by Nick Carr. Had fun browsing it though

Yeah, what threw me was that it showed an updated date, but I see now that it just changes it to whatever date you're looking at it or something like that.
I'm tripping over mass amounts of HP stuff out there.

Ehhhh... Ehhh....... Well that's quite a repetitive hint?..
As for translating the EC comment:
Quote:
Viens de recevoir un vieux grimoire du Petrie Museum ??? De plus en plus étrange....
Just received an old 'magic' book from the Petrie Museum . This is getting stranger and stranger...
There's only two books in their collection: One Two .
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Edit The link to Fibonacci might be as a clue that the code needs to be entered at the L2 screen. There's always the possibility there's more players.

well, decided I would ask BR directly in email by proposing that what we found within the datastore may not be level3, but that we happened to stumble upon some other lost relic Things have been quiet for the last five days, I'm sure BR would have been replying with some of his famous "do you think we have overlooked anything" lines before now?
Re Eleanor's book, the only Grimoire reference I could find was a book that resides (or if Eleanor has it resided), in the UCL/Petrie Museum library; "Mallarme: la grammaire et le grimoire". Not sure if it is of any relevance.
Well... the 24hr countdown has begun, let's hope Eleanor doesn't get into too much danger with that spell/magic book
Tex...
ETA although I have convinced myself that we have reached level 3, as the url of the first find in the datastore (level one) is 1013, the level 2 urls were 2007, 2088, and the last info we found (potentially level 3), was 3100.

Received from BR today,
Quote:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Hi Tex!
No, the Fibonacci sequence give you access to lvl 3. We are working around the clock with my engineer and I think we will be able to crack the coutdown within the hour and acess at least the first system.
There was one decision pending; do we or not contact Eleanor. What did you decided? Had you made contact with her, did you warn her or did you manage to at least monitor her activities?
I am so tired, I may be off grid for at least another 24h.
I'm in the #IBF chatroom this afternoon if anyone is around.
Tex...
ETA www.qadhos.com is now updated to show the 'montreal' cityscape/calendar and the 1st March is now 'System Ready' / along with changes to March 3rd.

So, new puzzle up to crack.
Received this from Bobby:

We manage to crack the countdown! Let's use this headstart to our advantage...
I suspect the new background images are related to that book and the musem EC received.
We did not contact her btw.

March 1st now opens up with an ancient egyptian drawing in the background and the prompt for two passwords headed by "Yesterday" and "Tomorrow"
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The background is a depiction of Anubis carrying out the ritual 'the weighing of the heart', and links with The Book of the Dead (a list of spells, which maybe could be described as a grimoire?). Within the book, there is a passage about rebirth, which contains;
"I own Yesterday, I know Tomorrow."
Yesterday is Osiris and night; Tomorrow is Ra and day, the day when
the enemies of Osiris were annihilated and his son Horus became king.
This became the date of the "Though-Dead-Yet-I-Live" festival, which
commemorates the burial of Osiris by his father Ra.
Once that info is used, it opens to a picture spelling out "access granted", and then to links for the complete letter to Harley from BG.
Some interesting parallels here with what little we have learned about BG's path.

New EC post on FB:
Quote:
Eleanor Carter viens de recevoir un second colis: cette fois une bouteille de chloride de potassium... C'est fou cette histoire! Je commence ŕ lire mon livre ce soir, on verra bien si tout ceci fait sense.
Translation: Received a second package: this time a bottle of potassium choride. This is becoming a crazy story. I'm going to read my book tonight, see if that helps/relieves.
And new post on the YC FB:

Me and drejl had a bit of a chat about the marks at the end of the full BG letter, and managed to dig up this info today;
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
reichssicherheitshauptamt amt ix - Reich Main Security Office, Dept IX, or RSHA
(don't you just love the german language how they can just throw four words together and come up with one big super word - I think the inspiration for Mary Poppins, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious )
and I think the stamp is for this brigade;
http://www.axishistory.com/index.php?id=1913
which I think belongs to the SS-Freiwilligen-Sturmbrigade Langemarck
