 		[SPEC] Something that may be important to locating Axons!
A while back, I started noticing something about the placement of the Axons and of the things near them. It seems that there are always connections to either ILB, Halo or Bungie!

Below is a list I've compiled that connect either a location or "thing" to the phones. Some of them will have quotes from people either from the UN forum, or the ILB blog.

Quotes in italic
My notes in bold
Connections to ilovebees in yellow
Connections to Halo in blue
Connections to Bungie in green







    MISC

    1. Axon located on Cove Rd. Weirton WV (Cove = Covenant?)

    2. A Beekeeper on the UN forums posted some pictures. There was Halloween stuff by the payphone, including Spiders. (Spiders = SPDR?)

    3. AMC Building with 770 on it (770, 777?) (AMC = A Master Chief? lol, probably not)

    4. "Janesville, WI (15:11) axon is now hot." (Janisary (sp?) James from the wav. file story)

    5. "The sixth point under stupid_cop was at an intersection where cops always park cruisers in the median for some reason." (Cops parking by stupid_cops Axon, lol)








    THE LIBRARY

    1. "one appears to be around the Library, one in the Mitchell Hall area and one in the Scholes Hall area." (Many of the Axons have been located near or in libraries. The Library level in Halo?)

    2. The Berkeley Library (The Library Level in Halo)

    3. WA Axon located in library, which me and my own brothers activated (The Library Level in Halo)




    MARATHON

    1. Axon located near a Marathon (Bungie's first game)

    2. Another Axon located at Marathon (Bungie's first game)








    777

    1. WA Axon. Emergency phones were all over near 700-707 St (The password was Emergency! Plus you've got the 700-707. That's 777 in expanded form. Definitely not a coincedence!)

    2. Axon behind an Applebees (AppleBEES!)

    3. Axon on 777 Market St (Coincedence? I think not)








    BEES


    1. "there was a hair place across the street dubbed "The Buzz", and there were lots of bees on the sign for it." (You of course know how this is connected Razz)

    2. "GET this of all things the third one we hit was in a small restaraunt and there was a bee/wasp on the window near the pay phone of two that were in the restaurant NO LIE. I have witnesses. There were three of us there. What are the odds... ARE THERE BUNGIE CONTACTS SOMWHERE NEAR THESE AXONS... WHAT IS GOING ON?"

    3. Bee nests at two payphones by a Community college where the Axon was located. (I activated this one myself and I have pictures for proof.)

    4. Bee nest at another phone (Ilovebees)

    5. Bee nest at yet another phone (Ilovebees)







    QUEEN


    1. "Dairy Queen...................344 Belmont St
    Could be the Dairy Queen itself and not a payphone outside - like the locations in Hyannis, MA."     (Dairy Queen? QUEEN?)

    2. Queen Anne, Seattle (The Queen!)

    3. "Dairy Queen/Sweet Tooth Shop phone in Brockton" (The Queen!!)

    4. "Also, all three points in Lafayette, LA were on a road that is under construction. Doesn't the Queen say something about building new roads at some point?"

    5. Dairy Queen (This was by the Community College where I activated the Axon. It was a few streets away, and get this, there was ROAD WORK being done!)







Other interesting things I've heard:

People have been seen walking up to the Axon phones, picking the phone up, and hanging it up right away. This is usually witnessed by someone right before they activate an Axon.

"as I parked a girl walk buy and picked up the phone and hung it up. I got out and ran to it, it was ringing!"

I don't know how this could be connected, but I've heard several people with the same story, and it IS very strange. Why would you walk up to a payphone, pick it up, and then hang it up right away? Was it just someone with the urge to pick up a payphone, or did Bungie hire people to do this?




All I know is that this is definitely important to locating Axons.

When you go to find an Axon, remember to look for the clues![/img]

 		My $.02:

I think we're just looking for this kinda of stuff. Yes, it's freaky deaky when it happens, but I'm sure if you look hard enough for something, you'll eventually find it.

So far, the game is that an AI on some computer is calling up phones to contact people because: a) Computers don't have legs, b) If they did have legs, they'd have to pull of some Santa Claus axon-to-axon visiting scheme, and c) how is an AI gonna tell a bee to be at a certian location (Unless Melissa called up joe-bob and told him to park his bee-truck by this payphone OR ELSE). How would a computer hundreds/thousands of miles away know what the area looked like?

It's nice to see people being very aware of their surroundings, but there can be times when a cigar is just a cigar.

 		ok its september in nebraska and its fall and u dont see many insects around, yet in my car the other day as i went to a freinds house to watch the football game, there was a live bumblebee in my car! Which is really weird bc i dont really ever see many bumblebees out here and definitely not this time of year. Heh well i thought it was funny but im with those who say finding things near the sites is just coincidence, although i looked around for the same type of stuff Laughing

You know, it's funny... But this happened to me as well. (Well, the bee wasn't inside my car, it was on the driver side window on the outside when I stopped at a gas station, so it was eyeball to eyeballs to me when I turned to open the door.) And while California tends to be rather warmer then the rest of the country this time of year, I really don't see much in the way of bees around here. Not to mention it was 10:00 PM, not exactly a time for bees.

 		Jeez. No libraries, no queens, no bees, no 777 (except that lunch I bought on Monday that cost 7.77 [for real] - it must be a kloo!!!), no marathon (oh wait, did that Whole Foods Market sell Marathon bars?!), not attacked by actual bees at any point in my journeys. Just the one that harassed me on my deck Saturday, punishing me for not going out to get those axons, which is why I went on Sunday... Rolling Eyes

 		You people really see coincedence when you see it don't you? So there just happened to be bees at lots of these payphones, huh? Wow, I guess bees like payphones . That's a new one on me.


I'm not saying that all of what I listed are clues, but the bees are no coincedence. Don't you think it's possible that atleast SOME of these axon locations were scouted beforehand? The PMs had quite a lot of time to set this whole game up. And ya know, the bees COULD have been planted there. It doesn't take a genius to do something like that.

 		That's kind of wierd, all the pickup the phones before they ring. I actually do that mysaelf, to make sure that the phone has a dial tone.

Methinks the point was stretched way beyond recognition.....
