Yes. Besides the obvious law breaking you would be committing it would compromise your personal viewing of it.
Dude, GOD know when the trailer will REALLY be online (some say next week, others like me Friday). If this screening of his is tonight, I say GO FOR IT!

God probably does know, plus if you look at relations as to when trailers are in theaters vs. when they're online it will probably be up in the next few days anyway.

I want to see it just as much as everyone else, but I don't think this is the best way of making that happen. Using a camera of any kind at a movie theater is a very very bad idea.

I'm sorry man, but judging off of your comments earlier and of now, you really need to chill about the trailer dude. if you're so excited to see it, go to Alice Friday, instead of advocating others to break the law so you can see it. Patience.

Don't do it. You've already f***ed up.
You're obviously not the kind of person who does... criminal things...

Publicly posting about is evidence...
So for future reference...

do it or don't.
just don't tell us about it. Smile

How about that press conference?

Guess I did..... so I won't LOL

Still will go see the showing so I can see the trailer for the third time Very Happy

Didn't really give much thought to the illegality of videoing a trailer..... stupid me eh??

Oh well.... back to trying to figure out what, if anything, goes in the derez site.

There's absolutely no benefit to recording a trailer in theatres, only risk and consequence. Doing it to be the first to share it online in crap quality when it'll be available in full quality within days at most is not a benefit, and certainly doesn't outweigh the risk and consequence.

Patience and delayed gratification, yo - makes things so much better!

From what I've heard, the trailer will be online before Alice in Wonderland.

The metal detector would have been my first clue if I had gone to the screening.

I don't have links, and can't confirm it. But I've had conversations with people that have suggested that will be the case.

It's a rumor.

Thinking about 42E's previous virals, I would wager that the trailer will be dropped on Saturday. Also, makes sense with how Disney would want it done.

That is true.

I can say 100% there will be a game leading up to the trailer, and it wont just appear online. So whenever it does release, we'll see it first.

100%?

That's pretty confident when we have no clues, and in (one) theory the press conference, at earliest, wouldn't happen until this coming weekend.

according to the tron FB page there are 4 days remaining for the trailer ;

Code:

Tron  Join us as we count down to the Tron Legacy trailer debut! In anticipation of the trailer's premiere, one new image will be revealed each day this week that you can share with your friends. Check it out here: http://bit.ly/TronCountdown

But really wouldn't our time be better spent looking for clues and trying to figure out things in the game, rather than being impatient about the trailer, starting immature flame wars with other forums?

Maybe its just me, but I'm getting tired of reading pages and pages a day with so little constructive game content, its hard to keep up with, and I'm afraid with all the 'noise' relevant info will fall through the cracks...

What clues do we have on the table right now?
-the Encom site
-the flynnlives forum
-the lightcycle images, their numbers and barcodes
-the derez site (which is most likely old as it was used in the previous game)
anything else?

all relevant information has been disseminated into separate forums.

We haven't been having a "flaming war" with Tron-Sec.

We don't really care if they like us or not, we're all in this together.

However... did not see that Tron's FB had updated. Because it's the movie profile, i don't think it's ARG relevant.

Right now we know that ENCOM is going to hold a press conference... that's our biggest lead... everything has yielded 0 results.

Yeah, whoa. When did that idea start? I posted over there that some of them might want to join us over here, but I didn't see if anyone flamed me for it. I tried to do it respectfully and say I didn't want to keep having to cross post stuff.

Hope they're not mad. Off to see.
