I just saw from the ebay link- the LA svreening got wristbands? Here in new york, we got a permanant marker to make an indifferent X on our wrist. Mine was actually a T (for TRON!) and my fiance's was really a dot (a bit?).

Yup, those of us at the LA screening got neon green wristbands...
They had WDSMP SPECIAL EVENT on them (I think that's what it has, it's still in my car). I actually managed to get it off my wrist without destroying it.
Nothing really special about them though..... your typical generic wristband(other than the printing). I recall someone already tried blacklighting it with nothing to show for it.

Okay so I ran a blacklight over the poster in the lobby, and talked my way into the IMAX theatre area and scanned both posters there. Nothing. I also asked about if they had one of the big cardboard props you sometimes see an they said they hadn't gotten one yet.
However, in my examination on the poster I I'd notice what looks like the number 002 reflected in his faceplate. It's all the way on his left side and you see it twice.
Might be nothing. Lightcycles, as memory serves, were designated as 001, 002, etc. But if it is a reflection of a cycle number, how can he be the one in the front, as it shows on the poster?
Edit: I posted this from my phone and didn't notice my mistake, but it should have been 220, not 200.

Actually if you look closer (at least on the test footage trailer) on the center part of the light cycle, has a "speedometer" of sorts that does hit 200 at one point..... it could be the reflection of that.

WDSMP = Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures

Very detailed account of the trailer for those who can't wait a wee bit longer:

Just got back from Alice in Wonderland.....
Tron preview..... still looks awesome.... would have been better if they would have turned off the damn lights in the theater.... completely wrecked the 3D effects. One thing I noticed..... right after you see the recognizer, it cuts to a scene with Sam looking out a window that appears to be maybe he pit cell arena, not the recognizer. Some people were saying that he was at the controls of the recognizer.... not the case (red lines vs blue lines)
As for AIW.... save your money and see something else. The critics have it right on this one.

Also saw AIW today. Was one of those who was able to see the trailer in Manhattan on the 27th of Feb., and went back to the same IMAX theater; same screen, in fact.
There's really nothing to say about the trailer that hasn't already be said (until it's online and we can go over it with a fine-toothed comb!) but I will say that there were several in the audience who actually clapped over the trailer! Nice audience reaction!

?'s ?'s I was at the LA screening. Did they NOT give out posters at the other screening locations?
There was mention of posters in this thread, but it sounds like the framed ones in the theaters, not the swag ones.
Have the swag posters been black-lighted?

I was at the New York event:
1. No posters were given out
2. No members of the creators (director, producer, etc) were there to answerquestions
3. No replay of the trailer.
4. Just a bunch of disney security pulling their heil mickey stuff.
5. I checked the posters actually posted in the movie theatre with a black light.
6. If someone is willing to give me a poster they got form the LA screening, I'd be more than hapy to look it over with my blacklight.

I'll be checking the NY location today. That said- I wish one of the stars had been there for our screening, and not just so that they would have rewound the footage. Do you remember any of the questions/answers?
The questions have been posted here:
