Finally got access to the Steam forums... Let them know about the Kirkland address before they start beating down doors they shouldn't be.

On Friday I decided to download P:SA for Xbox as I was feeling nostalgic. I played through on Sunday. A few days later, this ARG rabbit holes.
Wow ... "rabbit holes" is now a verb.

G4TV reports on the results of all this... an apparent screenshot of Portal 2?

Maybe, its hard to say. Here are all the images from the BBs thus far:

Here are some of them using a color terminal, making them much easier to see.

Wow. This is pretty damn amazing. Can't believe the Steam thread grew so fast-- 101 pages as of today O_O
Anything else happen today? I can see they found the password for the BBS, but that seems to be about it.

I'm having some difficulty believing that Valve would go to such a great length - writing software, adding achievements, creating those stegonographic images - just to hand out a single screenshot. I think this is just the beginning.

I imagine that to be the case as well.
BTW, it's not the first time they go through great technological effort...

That was for the original release of Portal.

I am super-sad this is not on the 360 version, as it's the one I own.

Yeah, you gotta get in on one of those Steam sales where they push it for cheap. $19.99 is too much for that short a game, but the sales make it worth it.

Over the holidays it was down for five bucks.
BTW: For those doing the achievement, Test Chamber #15 is borderline impossible.
ETA: Well that was fun. But I did a full play thru and only got 22 of the 26. I wonder if they're in the achievement maps, too.
