I don't think that the blog and the series are connected -- unless someone pointed it out somewhere? You probably can't draw connections back to Marble Hornets stuff in a canonical sense, just hte other way around.

A friend of mine [who lurks here, thanks Kev!] came up with a great theory that supports teleportation

Program: It's filming a door the whole time. It then says BLEED MORE [as we know] which could easily be a warning.

Admission: We see Slendy walk by, then the door opens by itself and shuts by itself. Maybe it's someone teleporting?

Personally, I'm a little disappointed that the electricity ideas got dropped so quickly. It can be used to explain the distortion of both video and audio, supports a version of teleportation for SM, could possibly have some connections to Masky's seizures, and can easily be married to the theories about water I've seen floated around. I've been a little too busy to investigate a little deeper for myself but...you know...

Maybe I'm beating a dead horse, but 24 still looks to be explained by electronic phenomena. The TV, the camera distortion, and the possible quick edit job. J's recent comment even seems to support this. (until TTA ruins my Christmas...)

Side note: Even this late in the game, every time I read these forums I get the feeling that there's something lurking just outside my door. Starting to drive me a little nuts...

I think that the electrical theory hasn't been discussed much because of how well it fits. It's almost a given. For me, at least, almost everything fits with it.

I agree, there isn't really anything to debate about the electrical theory, it's pretty thorough and explains a lot of things. There is also pretty much nothing to discredit it. That doesn't necessarily mean that it's true, but there's nothing else to really say about it.

Side note: I had a nightmare about slendy last night, and woke up a little on edge. I calmed down after a few seconds, realizing I was just dreaming etc. Until I saw him in my closet! Warning: if you watch marble hornets, avoid putting a white shirt in between two black shirts. This looks very much like a suit when it is dark.
