I'm heading out in a few minutes to see AIW..... in "Real 3D" not IMAX. There wasn't a theater close enough with IMAX that I wanted to go to.

Read a review about AIW last night and they didn't like it much..... but what do critics know?? LOL

Real 3D vs IMAX.... don't know the diff.... I'm just gonna enjoy the movie......AND the trailer Smile

There is a big difference. 3D uses optical tricks to appear three-dimensional to you. IMAX is just a film format on a screen the size of a barn. Because it fills your whole vision, you get the feeling of immersion into the image. It is not, however, three-dimensional.

You'll see.

So I was taking a look at my Tron phone and looked over the Virgin Mobile alerts that were on it. The phone was activated on 2/18. $120 was added on 2/22. $30 was added at the exact same time on 2/22 so the balance is at least $150.00. According to the introductory message, the rate is $0.20/min. That would be 750 minutes. That is a lot of minutes!

There is also a message that reads: "Service Preserved! Your service has just been extended for an entire year." There are 2 of those messages, received 1 minute apart on 2/22.

Based on that, I don't think we need to worry about our phones deactivating any time before the movie comes out. It also means that we don't have any clues as to when they might ring again.

On a another topic, the phones contain the Call Me number that we used to find the wallets. Has anyone called that number again? I am curious as to what would happen. This is my first real ARG, so I don't know if that is frowned upon. So someone else do it Very Happy

So I've just been all over my phone trying to find similar information (I have a Motorola SLVR L6), but there's no service messages, no way to find out what credit is on there - just one message in my outbox whose only content is the word 'Test'.

The sim card is completely white too, except for the IMEI number (or whatever that's called, I don't remember exactly), so I've no way of knowing what network it's supposed to be on (it's roaming on UK networks).

Ha, no worries man. The only way we could get any code (Which after seeing the trailer I highly doubt there is one to be had) would be to go frame by frame through the trailer when it hits the web.

Until then, no dice...

There's both IMAX, and there's IMAX 3D. If you go to the IMAX site and look at the theater locater, it'll show you which locations are which.

Sowasred2012 if you can post the first 6 digits of the serial number on the SIM card, we can determine the country of origin and should be able to determine the carrier.

Don't tell me to "chill out" kid. For the past week you've been non-stop about HAVING to get this trailer online.

So stop BEATING US over the head about it. We're all in the same boat.
You don't need to act like a hormonal 13yo hopped up on too Mt. Dew, pleasethankyou. Smile

I'm not meaning to be rude, i'm sorry if it seems that way.

Anyhow.. Still stoked to see AIW tonight. Just busted my hump today to get cash to make sure I could go out and have a good time. Smile

JUST got home from the movies. Saw Percy Jackson but snuck into the 3D showing of AIW briefly and snagged some 3D glasses before the previews started there. They showed the Tron trailer...

IT. KICKED. SO MUCH ASS!!!!

There's just something amusing to me about seeing that pic of Aragorn looking all grim and dirty, and then seeing IT KICKED SO MUCH ASS.

Saw the trailer today in Disney 3D. Totally worth the ticket price, IMO. Very Happy

I remember seeing two different codes on Flynn's computer screen. One almost looked like an IP address that started with a 2 and a DOS prompt screen with some code that could be investigating into.

Sam Flynn going up the elevator to play Disc Wars was absolutely awesome, as well as seeing Clu 2.0, Quorra on the couch in Flynn's "lair", the Recognizer landing, the new disks, and the light runner with the smoking tires and the red lightcycle exploding on the game grid.

I'm calling it right now: the numbers on the screen when Sam wipes away the dirt is a MAC address. Raspberry

I clapped and whooped it up, and was glad to hear a bunch more people join me after it ended!

From MTV site

"My suggestion is to see it in 3D in surround sound this weekend and download it next week and feel free to freeze-frame and analyze," Kosinski said. "It was important to me that when people see it for the first time, they have the opportunity to see it in 3D on a big screen. The entire second half of the trailer is in 3-D. On your iPhone, it's not quite the same."

I think the numbers are a timer. 20 are the first numbers on the screen. 20 years anyone?

Note the "FEEL FREE TO FREEZE-FRAME AND ANALYZE"...I sure hope there are some more "easter eggs"...to get this ARG movin again.

for those who want a link to the article.

...makes me wonder if unlocking the trailer
was never partof the ARG or we were just to slow to figure it out.

At least we get the TRAILER NEXT WEEK. FINALLY!!!

From memory the numbers are 20.11.?6.??.??.??
I can't recall if the number before the 6 is a 0, 1, or 6... I may even be wrong on the six in the first place!
There were four of us working together on the second viewing of the trailer at the Pit Cell event and I was the only one to grab any of the code due to it being so fast and us all being a tad hyper about the whole thing lol.

Would love to know if anyone else got the rest!

Why don't we all just be patient and instead of going nuts trying to argue about the numbers, wait until we can actually freeze them and analyze them.

They are. I looked carefully, and the numbers were changing a spit second before the computer screen changed. It's a countdown. Probably has nothing to do with the viral.
