Slightly OT - Tron on HDNet Tonight

So apparently the remastered version of Tron is on HDNet tonight at 8CST -- but of course I don't have HDNet..

Anyone out there got it and planning on watching it? I'm just curious if it looks any better than the DVD.

And as much as I'd love to have a copy of it, I wouldn't dream of asking anyone for a torrent.

I'm watching it right now. It's pretty good. Quality seems to be a tad better than the DVD...its very cleaned up though.

The "cleaned up" Tron -- and Tron:Legacy, of course -- are the reasons I'm finally going to break down and get a Blue-Ray player.

Just now? For shame, your flat screen tv secretly dislikes you Twisted Evil

I'm sure that between now and the release date of this movie, Tron will probably air multiple times.

Then again, it's being released on Blu-Ray soon, so who knows.

We've speculated about this, and I think most of us expect this, but has it ever been confirmed? If so, I'd love to know the release date.

Steve Lisberger confirmed it at the LA Q&A, but he said nothing about a release date yet.

Sorry to be vague about this (don't wanna break any forum rules) but there is a copy of the HDNet Tron (in all its hi-def goodness) available online if one knows how to sift through all the torrents of data on the net.
