How the fuck has no one said much about this before? This reveals ALOT about the storyline, and the fate of Jay. Something "waiting", something that will "surround" you? This obviously referencing to Slenderman. The commanding voice in this is a demonstration of Slenderman's power, it's saying "Jay, when you are alone, I will get you. I am everywhere, and no one can help you once you are in my grasp."

Curiously, after Jay had his encounter with Slenderman in #23, he holes himself up, as if to shut out the world, just like in the above quote. And now, even after being issued a warning from TTA, he ignores it, and stays shut in his room. After his account is hacked, the most he does is think about possibly leaving. In my opinion, this is Jay refusing to speak. Jay is fucked. Straight up fucked. He is in the grasp of Slenderman, and trapped.

For me, this almost verifies that TTA is a friend. He warned Jay by giving him this video, but Jay did not listen. When Jay shut himself in his house, he tried to scare Jay out with Warning, and still, Jay ignored him. TTA was worried that Jay might be gone to Slenderman, and did something drastic to try to wake Jay up and make him use what free will he has left: Hacked his account, and posted Entry #####. The point of the video was almost to make Jay realize his own house was not a safe place. At this point, I just hope Jay snaps out of it and listens. This almost seems like endgame folks, if Jay can't escape Slendy's grasp.

One of the pitfalls of the whole "There must be more clues!" mentality is that clues - context = random information. Practically every frame of every last Entry and TTA video has been pored over, dissected and correlated with a speed that would make a supercomputer envious. It is very difficult now to find any new information (unless, of course, the creators expect us to suss out things like what wattage those flickering flourescent lights run at), so we're left retreading old ground hoping to find new, as-yet-undiscovered connections. Until we're fed more breadcrumbs, it's the best we've got.

However, speaking of new connections, there are two things I realized recently.

- Listening to several of the Entries, you'll notice what I've termed Slender Man's trademark sound- a soft hollow rapping noise that seems sourceless (it isn't from the camera, as A) it shows up on both Alex's and J's recordings and B) it is present at times where the camera isn't moving) and random. Watching Entry 16, you begin hearing it almost from the beginning (though it can be hard to pick up, given the sound of J moving, knocking on the door, etc.), as well as Entry 23, even when J is in the "basement". However, I'm starting to wonder if there is some sort of pattern to these noises. In 23, it comes as either two or three taps in fairly quick succession (and seems to alternate between the two, though J's noises, the occasional distortion, etc. make it very hard to keep track). However, Entry 21 seems to have a single continuous pattern, a "tap, tap-tap" rhythm that repeats itself fairly regularly- in fact, every 8 or 9 seconds. 17 seems to have the same rhythm and pacing, but with the loud voices it can be hard to tell. I'm going to run through the rest of the videos either later tonight or tomorrow to see if there's some kind of pattern to it.

- Dammit, I had a second point to go here, but I got so caught up in working out the tapping sounds that I forgot about it. This space reserved for future brain mumblings.

In enry 16 there seems to be some sort of device near the word bone?

It does seem like something alex would do when crazy but maybe is meant to be something and it just looks like that because of low budget?

Also when Jay has his coof coof ness of doom in entry 16 there is a pretty clear hello.

Yet again I wasn't here for entry 16 discussion, so please feel free to ignore me if I am beating around a dead, disected, and speed up horse.

Man, if you get some communication that we can understand out of that tapping, I will be incredibly impressed! Best of luck! O_O (We already know that they employ morse code... wonder if that's in any of 'em? Or maybe the tapping spells something out over the course of several videos, like it's VERY VERY SLOW?)

Burrito, why not read through the thread for #16 to see if things have been mentioned? It's not like it's going anywhere!
