[OOG] http://500rads.blogspot.com/ I'm pulling rank right here.
No way Cloverfield 2 would start with a blog.

OOG? It may very well be OOG, but I want to follow Thad and Sakura and see where they end up.. They are supposed to meet at a cafe soon....it's better than nothing and nothing is all we've gotten for two years.

Sorry, it's just way too low class for a JJ Abrams production.
I'm not saying exactly how it would start, but I'd suspect a post here on Unfiction ( happened before to lead us to websites), an email from tagruato.jp or slusho.jp leading to a website.
If they are going to incorporate the viral COMPLETELY into the movie, it will take longer, if not, it will pop up faster. I know we debated it to death, but, in our Unfiction fans eyes the object at the end is the satellite, not the monster like most of the public thinks. Adding special effects into the movie to include the viral is one thing, but they are going to incorporate the viral completely they need to have the script, get permission etc.
And we know how secretive JJ is with his stuff so...

Remember when Slusho! and Tagruato first appeared?
There were typos on each site; when they were pointed out on the forums and blogs, the creators fixed them!
So you can't say that the viral "doesn't change" or that one form should be as refined as another.
There remains a typo on the Tagruato site:
"Yoshida was ambushed yesterday afternoon by a radical gang as he left a important restaurant."
Not sure why the creators left this one, yet fixed all the others.
Maybe, Red Bamboo was this "a important restaurant?"
I also (just now) noticed that Red Bamboo launched its website just a few days before Hal got bit!

We at Red Bamboo are dedicated to your health through our commitment to excellent vegetarian cuisine. Red Bamboo focuses on creating unique and authentic vegan and vegetarian meals using the finest soy, gluten, fruit and vegetable products available. Our foods, ranging from Caribbean spiced seitan to Creole Soul Chicken to Thai Summer Rice Rolls, reflect the wisdom of diverse culinary traditions.
Just went through the entire menu and didn't see anything unusual. Made me hungry tho.
Also, pulling rank? What rank?
And don't we have to be IG to declare something OOG?
500 rads is definitely IG, the last post is proof.. but what game is it?
We have no indication of an 'official' game to be IG/OOG from.
Yes, it's likely some fan/crew member doing his own AR site relating to MGP, but it DOES give us something to play along with until something 'real' comes along.

Huh? So you're saying it's In Game but it's a fan so it's not in-game?
In Game means created by the makers, not a fan, which this Blog probably is. I'm not saying you can't follow it, I'm just declaring it fake. It's not directly connected with Cloverfield 2.
And Red Bamboo is a real restuarant with over 250 reviews on yelp.com as opposed to fake companies Tagruato and Slusho that were created for the storyline.

Umm ... You may be forgetting BARBETTA!
Lilly Ford references it on Marlena's MySpace Page :

Oh my god, such a good time! So that explains why Jason got a message on his cell from some guy asking him to dinner at Barbetta...
http://www.barbettarestaurant.com/
There's over 160 reviews, and it's also a real establishment!
Also, there's something "odd' about the recent post.
I found this over @ IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1060277/board/thread/158626535?d=158627164&p=1#158627164
