Haha, Nighthawk - I'm driving from Houston. It's a long-ass drive, but it's better than giving my hard-earned money to the airlines when I don't have to. (I hate flying - not because it scares me but because it is way more inconvenient than driving. The TSA has no power over me.)

I didn't consult my husband - just told him I'm going. Wink I think he's planning on having a party while I'm gone. I imagine imbri submitted the proposal, as she lives in Atlanta.

Belle, my dear, I cannot WAIT to meet you in person. I'm so glad you'll be there! *hugs*

But I'm sad that we won't have AgentLex or Konamouse. Sad Next year for sure, guys.

.... Damn, won't make it Sad

Shocked WAITaminute... I Just did the math, and I have approximately a 5-10% chance of making it, depending on the availability of tickets.

Ugh, been making plans for a vacation the week before that. Once again the fest gods do not smile upon me.

It's gonna be another one of those summers... I hope to be able to make it this year. Got a friend's wedding in June in Alberta, I'd like to make it to E3 this year in June as well. Then July there's ARGfest, and if I do E3, I may be skipping SDCC this year.
Would be awesome to get to everything, but that's a hefty double vacation schedule for 2 months...

At the very least though, I'm going to plan for ARGFest in July and the wedding in June.

From what I remember of last time I was in Atlanta, that's where I got the little vacation story of opening the hotel room door to outside and walking into a wall of heat and humidity at over 110F.
This' gon' be fuuuun!

It's not THAT bad. the average that time of year is 90/70ºF (and if things keep on the way they have been it will be colder than average)

I still have vivid memories of standing on a grassy field, at attention and literally feeling waves of moisture move up my body while soldiers were fainting all around me. Good times!

I would like to take full credit for the location selection, for being the first to suggest Atlanta. You're welcome.

Having missed last year's festivities, there is nothing in God's green earth that could keep me away this year. I can taste the vidalia onion rings at The Varsity already.
