Re: missions 7 and 8
I think the clues are

Not to be ungrateful, but that wasn't really much of a hint because I can't even see the hint in lines 9 and 10.

The FAQ on the 39 clues said it was going to be released in early March, but we are almost halfway through the month.

I had trouble with decoding the sheet of paper.
I had to log out, log back in, then I realized the code at the bottom was laid out in pairs.

bf oe xl el sa os nl be ee ep cc hr ee yw im sa ly e

and I was only supposed to take 1 letter from each pair (as opposed to taking both E's out of "ee")

I, on the other hand, am having trouble with solving the Magic Boxes. Could someone please help me out?

The easiest trick takes some math.
If you can guess what all the numbers are (are they using 1 through 9? 1 through 16? 2 through 17? 3 through 18? 1 through 25? ) then you can add all those numbers up, and divide by the number of rows. That will give you what each row & column should add up to.

Once you know what each row should add up to, then you can use subtraction to figure out the missing numbers.

This trick is helpful for any magic square puzzle in the future.

Mission 7

I find the given location of the clue quite amusing, considering where they 'say' the clue is a few thousand km off the actual location on the map. Also I did not get the medal for obtaining 30 clues...it is still locked for me, even though I now have 30 clues, anyone else have this problem?
