So that package received by MTV contained knotted hair and "splinters of what appeared to be balsa wood."

I guess folks think that package was a hoax of some kind, but the knotted hair and the splinters comprise the materials for the mobile.

Also, that pageant video? Holy crap. I mean... ugh.

the girl is actually playing the right notes on the piano, so it seems it's not an actress but the actual singer.

there are no tags. no title but B (like if the first six videos were A). or maybe B is the first letter of her name ?

the cat makes a goat sound twice, like in the first video.

seems like the code is too hard to crack, so they're giving us a new video, to keep us interested. it's the first one we can watch in HD

By that logic I still can't seem to get "JONNA" from the other left over numbers. And I still don't see how her name ties into the animal equation.

I'm also a little torn. A little. Physically, I can see it, and vocally I can hear it, too, in her voice and in her keyboard riffs, but when I listen/look at her myspace page, something doesn't add up.

For one thing, I didn't spot even a hint of this project at her myspace page (which I admittedly haven't exactly sifted through). Nothing of this new aesthetic. Her music posted there seems to have a (really pretty good) lo-fi acoustic sound. There's the occasional experimental song, and some pretty stark images in her videos, too, but nothing to suggest that ami would or really could be her next project.

Perhaps it's a collaboration and Jonna Lee is only a part of the answer? Well, I guess it's obviously a collaboration, but if Jonna Lee is involved, I'd guess there's a significant artistic influence we've not discovered yet.

Edited to add: Ok, so there's one way to know if Jonna = ami. Anyone in Austin? She'll be playing at SxSW later this week. I do feel confident that if she were going to debut this major new piece of art in her viral campaign on the week of SxSW, she would pretty much be using SxSW as her coming out party.

I really wish I could be there myself.

i'm thinking she's not going to act as IAMAMIWHOAMI at SXSW. she's going to do an acoustic set, as it's written on SXSW website. i guess IAMAMIWHOAMI is a side project under a different name.

i figured out the L.E.E part of the numbers. maybe the other numbers are giving the other collaborators name.

but since we know the name of the girl everyone has vanished
