As for Beatrix being a bad person or not.. I can remember her calling hits on a list of people and consciously pointing us into the wrong direction when we tried to save someone.. But hey, all is relative. Wink

 		Beatrix Parrallels
I'd have to say Beatrix's travels parallel Randolph Carter's The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath quite closely.

Randolph went to the Moon during his quest aided by a bunch of cats, apparently there is a particular way to leap to/from the Moon.

Upon reading Beatrix recent letters it would look like she is coming to visit us, it would be ironic if she took over the body of Bobby Rondeau or perhaps she already has...

 		Hidden process.. Confused well AMTIXEOESLVODREPYCMH still bugs me... but so many combos, if it's anything at all.. Confused and the last one was 1212, so that kind of puts a spoke in the wheel anyhow.. but is similar to the sequence at the end of the last datastore entry (7878), also the php on each of the pop ups have a random string also, eg., u981, upto the MAR 1825 letters, and since then has just been 1212 (maybe end of file/password marker)... don't mind me, just thinking aloud...

Nice to be associated with someone's decision to end their life, oh well, so much for lofty goals... choices and consequences..

I had a browse through character map tool when the chinese looking symbol first appeared, may spend a bit more looking now it's reappeared on Eleanor's journal... may look further today, as I have a bit of time on my hands..

ETA: with 14hrs+ on the clock I notice that March 17th is still at system not ready, maybe something still needed to do, or maybe they feel they've been giving us too much time on the next clues Wink

 		There can be several reasons for why the 17th isn't up yet; 1. to give us more of a challenge, 2. to avoid another 'hack' a la snorkle Wink 3. because that's what the script says.

In the mean time, I tried to get more info on the characters involved so things would get less confusing. So sent a mail of Qadhos which basically jsut contained a list of names: Rondeau, Grey, Carter, Warren, Solvej, Eschantra, Entian. Qadhos. The Barbizon Group. Derva.

Received the following:

- Bobby Rondeau was used to be an informant but was never an official Qadhos agent.

- Beatrix Grey is very real and is in charge of the Barbizon Group, although we never had any visual proof of her whereabouts.

- Warren is unknown to us.

- Solvej Pickman, Eschantra and Entian are all listed in my database but way over my pay grade. I can just acknowledge their existence. Whatever they are or they link to Qadhos is something that probably even my boss' boss don't have the access to.

Don't forget I am just a technical analyst in charge of communication with lvl 1 agent and other informant.

That said, Your help so far was invaluable. We have still one hidden process that left to be access. It seem that all file have been downloaded, so the truth is out there.

I keep you posted of any development on my side.

So, bit more of an overview this way. What also strikes me is how every name on the list is mentioned in the reply except for Derva's... I still call suspicious on that one.

-edit- Also, the Solvej issue is weird. ELC referred to solvej as being eschantra, but qadhos says it is solvej pickman?

Solvej means "strong house" Danish form of Old Norse Solveig, its a girls name... don't know why you want to call your daughter strong house but hey! Laughing

something to do with Lovecrafts Arkham House?

Beatrix did mention the Arkham Asylum (Batman) in her first letter..

Okay 8th clue is up looks like they are continuing with the Star Trek theme, this time with Data from I think the First Contact film, the binary code in the background doesn't correlate with the decimal in the other columns.

15 145 097 924 - Thought perhaps stardate but I think that's too long.

Maybe just convert the numbers to binary it after just data.

Though that might make overly long and has no connection to the Dream theme...mmm need coffee.

Okay Data had a dream in the episode called Phantasms but I getting nothing on this number at all.
