Got mine today.... but I have a question for you guys..

What is the document that "Dan" speaks of here:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Sender: DG_MGMT_DEPT
Subject: Your J-93 Report?
Tuesday, March 16th, 2010, 11:25am

Still looking for everyone's J-93's. What's the holdup?
Don't mean to bust your chops - if you've already submitted your J for last week, good on ya. If not, please contact my administrative assistant immediately.
See you around,

--Dan (The MANager)

also the main page speaks of this:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
To those of you in HR, please make sure that these new recruits file their start paperwork on time and sign the necessary NDA's – we don't want the competition getting wind of our plans...

A respectful dish of lightly sauteed Trout for you: krakmunky69 posted it on Wednesday in the main "[TRAILHEAD?] Tron" thread. No offense intended, as I'm sure you're hardly the only one who hasn't memorized every post in that 119-page topic...

(As long as I'm posting here anyway, "Me five" on those twiddling thumbs. Poor overworked Zach.)

Oh dear. I actually DO try to read every post- the problem is that the e-mail alerts for when new messages are posted are not 100% all the time. Ah well. It seemed like it belonged here anyway.

That said, I made a PDF of the first week's announcement page which I can attach if people who still don't have passes want to see the original.

Agreed. Any other movie and I'd be criticizing the inaccuracies with modern day technologies and computer systems.

So, I was just looking at the envelope that my badge came in a little while ago, and I noticed that the address label for my address is a little piece of cardboard-type stuff secured by a piece of packing tape. Haven't tried to peel it off yet. Anyone tried it?

Just tried it now. Nothing there. Don't have a blacklight though, so I can't check it for hidden messages. I think the mailer they used is just that: a mailer. No clues here, folks.

Ditto.

I pulled it off and used the black light... nada.

So if the badges are copyrighted by a fictional company can we do whatever we want with them?
Probably shouldn't even be asking this since I can see Disney forcing 42E to slap the Disney name on all the trinkets.

The fictional company is owned by Disney, so in a round about sort of way, Disney has it covered!

Does it really matter? No judge will back Disney over geeky viral crap.

Actually, you're soooo wrong on that. If Disney will sue a pre-school for unauthorized use of their characters, they'll be happily sue over geeky viral "crap". Also, if you think it's "crap" why are you even here? Rolling Eyes

They can try. No guarantees they'll win.

Although the encom e-mail system is read only, has anyone attempted to send an e-mail to any of the senders from their personal e-mail account? For example, Alan Bradley's e-mail would be:

AB_EXEC_LVLSPLATencominternational.com

I just sent an e-mail to the above address and it didn't bounce back.

I also replied to Dan's e-mail regarding the J-93 reports.

Yes, it matters.
1. It's rude.
2. We want to encourage more promotions like this in the future.

If Disney hadn't relied on the GENIUSES at 42 Entertainment to do the Viral campaign for Legacy, they would have shambled it up. I tried a blacklight too on my package case for my Ident badge, no go here too. But I think we could see a few more e-mails pop up on our Encom e-mail pages soon, either that OR an e-mail from Lumbergh will remind us to remember to put a coversheet on our TPS reports, with an annoying attachment of the memo. Hehe!

~JamiroFan2000~

* To Confusion * Yeah that also occurred to me, I just e-mail Silly Jilly and asked how exactly CRAZY that killer party was....alas, no response yet.
