No guarantee they'd lose either. I wouldn't want to poke a sleeping dragon.

Meh. What's rude is.. I haven't gotten my badge yet.

I think ya'll worry too much about things that are inconsequential.

People "tampering" with swag isn't going to stop virals/promotions "like this."

My understanding is that under current copyright law any "creative work" is automatically considered to be the copyright of the person/company which created it. This is true even if they don't put a copyright notice on it.

Office Space FTW.

also the main page speaks of this:

To those of you in HR, please make sure that these new recruits file their start paperwork on time and sign the necessary NDA's – we don't want the competition getting wind of our plans...

NDA stands for Non Disclosure Agreement - a standard doc that companies make you sign to promise that you won't spill the beans on proprietary secrets/tech/whatever the company has. I sign them routinely when working in the game/film/toy industries.

Just a kindly reference to my previous post, where I mentioned I got a request to resubmit a pic they couldn't use. I'm pretty sure that, if they had problems with your pic, you'd get the same request. if you didn't get the request to resubmit, keep looking for your badge in the mail.

My bud had trouble with his login (page crash mid-signup during photo upload) and still got the badge in a few days.

Although the encom e-mail system is read only, has anyone attempted to send an e-mail to any of the senders from their personal e-mail account? For example, Alan Bradley's e-mail would be:

AB_EXEC_LVLSPLATencominternational.com

I just sent an e-mail to the above address and it didn't bounce back.

I also replied to Dan's e-mail regarding the J-93 reports.

D'oh! Great idea. I'll be sending some email tomorrow. I hope Encom appreciates the fact that I work weekends for them. I want a raise!

Just sent mine, even replied to SillyJilly's email about Lila using all the flagged characters. You never know, cause the site does infact say,

Quote:
The following terms and symbols have recently been added to our watchlist and will, from this point forward, be flagged for further investigation

So, again, you never know!

I had the same thought and sent an email on Friday to AB_EXEC_LVLSPLATencominternational.com but my mail reports it as undelivered/delayed so far.

I noticed 3 of us who reported no badge love used something other than a real pic of ourselves. I used the Claimjmper logo I had on these boards and will use again if Madeleine is ever found. I'll have to bow out if that's the reason, since the site won't let me reenter my ID and signing up twice is just wrong. Though I'll bet there are folks that Zack's made a few dozen for, already, I can't do that 'cause that's just not how I was raised.

I wonder if Disney and Claimjumper want to duke it out over IP, though.

Lex and enaxor, what did you use?

But there have been some that have received notification of invalid images, and were permitted to re-upload them.

Also, I don't know what image Lex sent up but he's in England, so if they do ship internationally it might take him even longer to get it.
