well it seems like the drive's owner failed to show up. new message on the facebook sight (odd that it says it was posted 11 hours ago when i have been checking all day and it has only just appeared?)

i have asked LL for the name and/or addy of the person that contacted her, in case we are meant to follow it up. will see what she says when she replies.

I got in a tiny bit late on this, so I went through all the info pretty quickly.

The only things I'm left wondering, this thread started with mention of "the A-oks"? I can't find any connection or correlation, maybe we're not supposed to know that yet, who knows....

Also, now that you have all picked apart the individual pieces of Rabbit, what does it mean as a whole? What do all those things have in common or what is it trying to say?

To me it sounds like a message. Like something cryptic meant for someone who actually understands it to find?
The end "death toll: 6.5 billion" message is the weirdest to me, because we're nowhere near that on earth. Which to me says it's either a prophecy to several generations from now, or a message from another world/planet/dimension that has a larger world population than ours.

back from a weekend away to find all this new stuff I emailed LL and also manymanymanyforms, and I'll post any interesting response I receive.

Many's reply to guywiththegun: is it an invitation for us to ask yes/no style questions only? Or a pointer towards something else that needs to be decoded from binary?

Nevermore, i wasn't sure what the A-OKs had to do with anything either. From what I could see, they are a Denver band, which links to LL and where the drive was found, but no other obvious connection.

Will be trying to analyse the You Tube vid over the next day or two, for any hidden info. Any other ideas or views people have on the general meaning of what we have so far, other than a warning of a possible total exctinction event for planet earth?

Ok, grabbed stills from the video. You can see most are music performance related. I also had a listen to the audio. The music is only in the right channel. I'm attaching both channels and one with the left channel subtracted from the right. Not sure if any of this gets us anywhere.

Hi Guys... I just read through everything tonight and I found something that I'm really surprised hasn't been mentioned yet.

If you look at the youtube site posted by lonelylucky, and then look at the comments you see there the previously mentioned video response by manymanymanyforms.... that is creepy enough, but if you click on his name and go to his youtube channel, you will notice he has posted one other video called "TELL HER.avi". There is a comment with this video that says:

"Did u know snakes can't see the color blue?
The love red, though. "

If you play the video you see a series of still photos displayed... some of the photos are repeated multiple times. In most of these photos either red or blue colors are very prominent. I would like to pull down this avi and split off the photos and run them through red and blue filters, as well as examining these images for any other messages to see what they may reveal. I am guessing that enhancing the reds and filtering the blues will reveal some insight. I'd love to do this myself, but it would take me some time to figure out how to do all of that and I know some of you are very adept at that.... so if somebody wants to do it while I stumble around with it and get the results out there we can get it out there much quicker!

edit: It's probably also worthwhile to run the filters on the isolated images that were posted above as well...

Busy weekend for me

One thing I've noticed is that MMMF shifts between casual spelling (4 and u, and misspelling they as the), but everything is correct during the more cryptic phrases (snake, Godspeech). Probably irrelevant. It also refers to the flash drive as a proper noun, like a person.

Two references to snakes now, and TELLHER.avi has plenty of animal images - three jellyfish, frog/gecko thing, painting of dragon, crab, rabbit, some spider thing, and drawing of penguin. These are all red except for the jellyfish, which are all blue. No snakes, though.

I think that the colors might represent a binary code, with blue as 0 and red as 1 or vice versa. I would totally copy it down, but I've messed up about 5 times in a row and am giving up.

The idea of a binary code with blue=0 and red=1 is interesting since every photo is either predominantly blue or red. It's kind of hard to get the whole string though, the video is several minutes long and the pictures go by quickly. I got about half way through and messed up.

I spent some time trying to remember how to mask red and blue out of a photo but I didn't have any luck... hopefully we have some better photoshoppers than myself following this.
