The reason that totheark's twitter isn't followed by Jay's seems to be that the marblehornets twitter account isn't following anyone. totheark was probably snagged by the creators to prevent gamejacking later on.

If this isn't a gamejack, I'm going to laugh. Alex disappears for three years after supposedly finding no way to end his stalkings, and now he's BACK AND IT'S PERSONAL (insert deep narrator voice and explosions here)? Pfah ha ha haha. I hope he shows up with shades and a trenchcoat while he's at it.

Actually, we've known about this gamejack since the early stages of the game. It was fun, but it got out of hand, and is (or, at least, WAS) inactive

The MH creators are big fans of minimalism (apparently), so anything as blunt as this (AKA, every gamejack I've seen so far) can be safely dismissed. It's just not their style.

Yeah, "slenderhunter" was around a while back. It was fun while it lasted, but it just sorta fizzled out. It's odd, though, it looks like this account is new. The original SH's tweets were at least a couple months ago, and the later ones were in Arabic or something.

Ok, I had a crazy thought.

What if "The Ark" is the Dilapidated Building? That seems to be where the closest encounters with Slendy take place. This idea still has lots of flaws, but hear me out.

What if, for some reason, Masky/TTA cannot reach this Dilapidated building? What if, even, Masky has been there before, and now cannot reach it? Perhaps Masky was the cameraman in Entry 22, which would certainly explain why he had the tape.

Perhaps, seeing how serious J was about discovering the mystery of the tapes, TTA started replying with messages to break the ice, saying "Hi". Then, the Anonymous Tipster (presumably Masky) has J go to the house, in hopes that he'll stumble upon the Ark.

TTA, in desperation (due to J's cluelessness) posts the video of the Red Tower. J, after seeing the video, decides to return to the house, this time stumbling upon the Ark.

His bold statement of "I'm never going back to the house" enrages Masky, and the discovery that J is STILL afflicted by the weird warps enrages him even more. No longer content to merely observe, Masky proclaims "You WILL take me to the Ark."

This is just conjecture, and it sounded a lot better in my head, and this telling of it is pretty hamhanded, but I hope the general idea has come across.

EDIT: If TTA and Masky are seperate entities, there is the possibility that TTA is Seth, the cameraman, which could easily explain why he has access to missing footage and sound. This also could explain the "We are coming for you".

Also, perhaps Tim isn't nervous in Entry 15, rather he is filled with anticipation in hopes that he'll hear something about the Ark.

I can see that, yeah. Damn i thought the holes might hav been bullet holes and could have explained the casing thats disappeared. Imagined masky just blastin the tower for fun lol

We may also not have ever seen Masky in the dilapidated building. Alex, Seth and Jay, yes, as well as Slendy. But Masky (who is pretty obviously Tim, or at least it's likely that Tim is wearing the mask 99% of the time) hasn't been shown to have visited the place. Maybe he simply wants in for whatever reason?
