Has anyone considered that possibly we could use Alex's hair length as a way to determine the time line?
I doubt his changing hair length is OOG seeing as it's pretty easy to maintain a consistent length over time. It would be pretty lazy of the PM(s?) to let the physical appearance of the actors change without it having any relevance (especially considering that Jay and Tim's looks are so consistent). So how long his hair is might clue us into some of the entries placement in the timeline.

So from the looks of it, there are three possibilities. 1) Alex grew his hair long over the course of MH production. 2) Alex grew his hair long, but cut it partway through production. 3) Alex's hair was short during production, and the entries with longer hair take place in some time between the end of production and now.

In terms of Slender Man encounters, I think it goes something like this:

Entries 17 and 20 are before the Slender Man encounters, or directly at the beginning.

Entry 12- Seeing him for the first time.
Entry 2- Mention of a meeting, but no real fear.
Entry 4- Seeking out Slender Man
Entry 13- Seeking out Slender Man, encounter
Entry 7- At this point, we start to get the hint that Alex is growing fearful and Slender Man is stalking

Around this point are when entries 3, 8, and 9 could be put however one saw fit.

Entry 1 and 6- By this time, Slender Man is stalking outside of Alex's house.

By Entry 11 and 14, Slender Man has gained access to Alex's house.

Entry 10 could fit anywhere between 6 and 11-14.

Entry 22...part of me believes it's the final one before Alex gives the tapes to Jay, but...another part thinks it was more recent...just a thought.

All of this is speculation, but to me, it's the order that makes the most sense.
