I just looked up Justin Herman Plaza.

Justin Herman Plaza
One Market St., San Francisco, CA, 94105
(415) 772-0700

Spanning five blocks in the heart of San Francisco's prime commercial district, Embarcadero Center is one of the largest mixed-use complexes in the Western United States. With a unique history, EC offers four million square feet of office and retail space. Embarcadero is comprised of five office towers, and three interconnected shopping levels within four towers operated by Boston Properties.

Known for its diverse business and entertainment facilities, the Center features more than 125 retail shops and restaurants, a five-screen cinema and services to meet your every need.

"So this upcoming San Francisco press conference event..."

Anyone still think it isn't going to be in San Francisco? Mr. Green

Edit: And, as clued in the video, there's a new press release on the Encom site. It further confirms that "Alan Bradley will introduce the latest addition to the Encom International product library on April 2 in San Francisco." It'll be at 8pm in Justin Herman Plaza.

It also gives us a name and email address: Celia Melardin, Encom's PR representative (prSPLATEncomInternational.com).
So i wrote Celia... her response:

Thank you for your interest in interviewing Alan Bradley at the San Francisco Encom Press Announcement. Due to overwhelming response, we will not be able to accommodate all requests, but will review the details below and get back to you if appropriate.

We appreciate your patience and, again, thank you for your interest.

Hehe, the plot thickens, that sounds like an 'automated e-mail response' to me, still good stuff! In regards to this conference's relevance with Wondercon, this could end being a 'offsite Comic Conlike Viral event', I also remember the set for ENCOM's corporate headquarters, from the recent blogger pictures from the Tron Legacy sites up in Vancouver, the outdoor mock building, sounds eeringly just like that Embarcadero Center described on the ENCOM website where the San Fran PC is taking place. EXCITING!!!

I'm thinking it's not part of Wondercon, though I could be completely wrong since I don't know the area where Wondercon is being held. The L.A. Tron: Legacy billboard also got "tagged" with the message- FLYNN LIVES. I saw a link to the story on the Tron page on FB. Planned tagging of course, but still cool. If this meeting is not streamed, which I doubt it will be, somebody try and get video or something. You gotta give it to Bruce for sticking with the character and going this far to help promote the movie.

AND THANK YOUR SHADOWDRAGON1 for linking the video... Smile

Going by Google Maps, Justin Herman Plaza is many, many blocks Northeast of where Wondercon is being held.

I hope this is broadcast live online, or has tie-in live events in multiple locations.

For personal, and other reasons I not able to go the 800+ miles to frakkin' San Francisco. Sad
