marblehornets: Note: The report itself seemed to have some sort of technical difficulties at the end. Unsure what caused it. Don't want to think about it.

On second thought, someone maybe check for a hidden frame...

The only technical stuff I saw/heard was the static Jay put over the names/locations. Everything else looked pretty normal for a "live" news report recorded by a camera shooting a TV.

Odd tweet then no? Perhaps a preview of what TTA may have in store?

This is an extremely common occurrence when filming or photographing a normal TV. I'm actually surprised there was so little of it in this video.

Also, what, now? Sorry, my brain is dying from the still awake times. The tweetdoesn't seem odd to me, since what was brought to his attention was the fact that his apartment was on fire.

At first I thought it was just YouTube's quality.
But I can confirm after downloading that the tearing is contained WITHIN the upload.

Oh, another thing. I know the static is used to remove the names. But does it seem odd to anyone that it occurs JUST as the cameraman looks at the top story window? Or is that just me...

There's a definite on-screen tear at 1:09, which means Slendy was fucking with the news crew. Doubt there are any slendy sightings in this;
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I can't see them risking breaking the illusion with a shoddy photoshopped-in slendy
.

Early entries make a big deal that the visual tearing is a sign slendy is around.

It would be quite simple to just put a silhouette for a few seconds. Especially a stationary one. One of the windows perhaps?

well from this video i think that TTA = Alex, but Masky doesn't have to be Alex

i think TTA/masky is smarter than burning the apartment without j in it. i'm sure they found out that J wasn't at his apartment anymore. so imo their goal isn't to kill J. Besides, if J were dead, how would he lead them to the ark?

i've got more to post, but i'm tired and should be sleeping, so i'll edit stuff in tomorrow

I still think it was slendy down to the visual tears and fires are a part of his original mythos

Okay, this one I do see. I had missed that, and thought the "several instances" people were referring to were the normal flickering one would expect when taping a television.

Though I don't honestly see any more tearing of this sort other than at 1:09.

(Also, yes, I'm aware of Slenderference, but I don't think that that means that every type of visual interference should be chalked up to it. There are one or two specific types of interference associated with Slendy, and they stay pretty true to that throughout the series.)

I also believe this was Alex who is TTA. He has nowhere to go and his money will run out soon enough. I'm both predicting and hoping for endgame within the next 3 entries. This is getting ridiculous, they better be ressurecting Stanley Kubrick from the dead to film the final entry because I'm tired of all this bullshit!

I am in full agreement(?) with this comment.
Fires have ALWAYS been associated with Slendy, all the way back in the Romanian myth posted on SA.

I also associate the short story "The Man in the Black Suit" by Stephen King with Slendy. In that story he was also associated with the smell of matches.

This makes sense, but also begs the question...why not Alex or Brian? Though we really can't say for Alex's place, I guess, since we only see Brian's house. Or maybe that has something to do with the Maskiness. Ho hum.
