I think slenderman is in the flames on the roof (the black mass looks humanish and seems to walk right beside the water), it is definitely not a second stream of water.

Same guy here, just remembered in the original SA thread Slenderman was supposed to use fire as a distraction while he did his business (or to escape unnoticed). Jay was luckier than he thinks.

This is certainly a startling turn of events. Good thing Jay got out when he did, but had he stayed, would Totheark have burned it down anyway?

The game just got a little more dangerous. You set fire to an apartment building housing many people, several of them disabled, you cross a line. Totheark's not caring anymore.

I keep seeing people say that Jay says TTA uploaded this video, but where does he say that? I'm not seeing it in the video or on his Twitter.

It wouldn't make much sense for him to upload it anyway.

It's TheNightmareComplex, showing up once more to say... That he doesn't think this is an ARG any more.

OOG, I'm pretty sure the news footage is actual news footage that's been dubbed over and edited. If you watch closely, you can see that the lips don't sync perfectly on the broadcasters, and the closing shot is just some of the earlier footage that's been reversed and slowed down slightly. The video tearing can easily be edited in (as it always is).

It's very good editing, of course, but I doubt they added a Slendy into the footage. I'm going to film school next year, so I speak from at least a bit of experience when I say "that would be really hard to do". Razz

I don't know if this is the right attitude, but I think the best method of deciphering what is added in (or rather, what we SHOULD be seeing) is to find the original clip. I'll start with what I've found from searching. Maybe this, though I doubt it.

EDIT: In retrospect, it's generally a bad idea. Not only would it be near impossible, but it's probably disrespectful to the spirit of the videos.

I thought I saw Slendy in the fire, too, but the more I looked at it,I think it was the water stream from the fire hose.

I skimmed through this thread right now, and only watched the video once so far... but I noticed the same visual tear that appears in many of alex's tapes is also present in the "eye witness" video. I don't recall the same tearing happening in Jay's videos, but correct me if I'm wrong. Now I'm off to watch the video again a million times!

Also, Slendy has been known to be a firestarter.

I thought about doing this, but like you said, it's impossible. And really, we're putting too much emphasis on how the video was made. The one thing we're supposed to accept out of it is that that's definitely Slender Man, given the visual and audio cues.

The visual tearing happens in entry #16, which is filmed by J. I'm sure it's happened in other J videos, too.

Just wanting to point a little something I noticed out.

At 0:30, before Slendy (or whatever it is) goes in but after he pulls the door off, the enterance looks like the first image.

But at 1:32ish you see the door again, and it seems very different. In my opinion, something could be coming out of it. Something big.
