All good things...

Greetings all,

My apologies for being less than communicative lately. Shortly after
the decision to close the game, many other time consuming tasks were
thrown onto my agenda, so I was delayed in providing you your well
deserved interactive conclusion. Thank you all for your support, and
I do hope that you have enjoyed yourselves through this game for the
most part. We have learned a lot in regards to managing a project
such as this and hope to again bring a fun and interesting game to
the ARG community in the future, without all of the hurdles we
experienced with this one.

Go to www.noahboddy.com for updates and information on our grand
finale.

Thanks again.

More delay...

Okay, you all must really really hate this by now, but I promise that
this will be the last delay you see on this game.

Due to unexpected tax and work issues, the conclusion has to be
pushed back to Wednesday. My deepest apologies, and I was trying to
prevent yet another delay in this already frustrating circumstance,
but I really have to do it.

For all of you who have hung in there, again, my apologies for having
this drag out as much as it has, it was absolutely unintentional.

I hope your current adventures in the worlds of ARG have been
fulfilling. Who knows, perhaps our paths will cross on the same level
of the game sometime soon.

Thea

I won't post any new answers, etc. on Friday. It is obvious that this
would be too inconvenient for too many who have worked really hard on
this. (I could just hear the envelope ripping open... And the
Cultural Insensitivity Award goes to... Thea!!) Smile

We can do this next week, I haven't seen anyone get too about me
pushing it back again, and I didn't want to leave you all hanging
wondering tomorrow.

Let me check with any potential weirdness with my schedule tomorrow
to make sure that I can plan a set time, and then I'll post it, and
dangit, this time, it will be the finale!

Thanks everyone for your opinion. If there is a day next week that
does not work for some of you, or for full groups of you who are
still hanging on, please let me know before tomorrow night. Smile

Greetings All,

Wow, I've gotten even more responses about having the game finale on
Good Friday then on Passover. My sincere apologies of I have offended
anyone with my complete lack of orientation and knowledge in regards
to the religious and secular holidays.

Here's the deal, and perhaps I should have been clearer when I first
announced this)...

The finale is going to be:

A presentation and explanation of what you were supposed to conclude
with each hint, and what those hints were to come together as for the
weekly clue. I will let you know what you have missed if you have
missed anything that week.

A final puzzle based off of the weekly clues that we have had.

***

Here is the predicament, and let me know if you have suggestions:

Many have made time, and adjusted schedules, to be around for the
conclusion. First, my apologies for the rescheduling. Second, my
apologies for overlapping holidays. Rescheduling another time will
likely anger or upset those who have changed their schedule a second
time. Not rescheduling would be ignoring those who have politely and
heartfeltly requested that this not take place on a holiday that they
observe.

I want you to be able to be in your groups and enjoy the community
that we built during this journey. If this will not be possible, I
would rather move it off of a holiday and to a time that is most
accessible for you all. I want you to be able to work on the final
puzzle, and not feel cheated due to your faith an holiday
observations.

Here is my proposition, and I want to hear comments/suggestions about
it on this forum.

Howabout the solutions/clues get posted as currently scheduled. This
way, you all should have some time to review at your leisure. You can
call or email your groups, provide the proverbial "I told you so!"
when appropriate, etc. I can then reschedule the final puzzle to a
more appropriate time for all of you next week. I want to provide
something for the fastest 6 answers that I receive, although they are
not going to be the same caliber of prizes that were initally planned
for the full game. As that does create competition, I want to know
what those of you who have hung on would prefer.

Would you prefer I keep the hint solves/clues on friday, or move
those to another day as well?

Would you prefer that no prizes be given considering all the chaos
that has already been encountered with this game, and the scheduling
fiasco.

Would you prefer day, evening, or weekend to receive the final
puzzle?

Thanks to all of you who have remained supportive.

I really really really want to know what you think.

Thea
