[OT] Keeping up to Date - A Flynn Lives Bundle You know, trying to keep up with the 100+ websites in a big ARG like this can be a pain, so I created a neat little Google Reader "bundle" anyone can subscribe to in order to quickly see when any in game site has been updated.
Right now it's just the FL front page, discussion boards, and operation tron, but I can easily add any pages which aren't password.
What other pages are likely to be updated that I should add?
[EDIT] Added the facebook wall too.

isn't this why we have tron.wikibruce.com?

This is different, it automatically checks all pages listed as soon are you open the page, so you can quickly see what pages have updated. That said, it just grabs a snippet of text and points you to the updated page; the wiki is a well groomed archive of things that while generally up to date, isn't instant.

I think it is a great addition. My friends and I are trying to keep up with all the developments via a Google Wave. This will help us immensely.
Thanks for the great work on this!

Not saying it isn't a great addition.
but it's a useless thread... why are we gonna come to THIS thread and post about updates when that's what the TRAILHEAD thread is for...!?
just saying: waste of space and excessive clutter. this should be deleted, imho.

No. This is actually useful. Thank you very much, Bluefire. I use Google Reader and I wouldn't have got this if it had just been posted to the trailhead thread

whatever.
if you can't go "hey, what's the link to _____" then you should probably rethink your approach to this game.
instead of encouraging garbage threads. (yes, this is me exercising my right as an American to protest anything I don't like.)

You may have the right to free speech in public, but need I remind you that this isn't a public area. The mods and admins of this board have rules, and if you disobey them they're within their rights to take action.
That said, you haven't been breaking rules, just being a dick about this. This isn't a tool for gathering links to areas. This isn't just a one-shot update that can be put into that already cluttered (to use your phrasing) trailhead thread. This is a pretty useful addition to the toolset we have relating to this game, which instantly notifies of new updates, since there is a lack of true RSS feeds for this content. Considering we have threads for cellphone themes and alternate opening credits that have literally nothing to do with this game beyond a Tron connection, why haven't you protested in those?

I have. And i said the FORUM is cluttered, not the thread.
If the mods want to get rid of me, they will. if that happens I'll go somewhere else. This isn't the only forum in the world for this ARG.
But, really, what's the relevance in setting up an entire thread to this? Like I said, we're not gonna all post up in here just because that site updates. Most people (smart people) would post in the TRAILHEAD or the other appropriate threads.
This link could easily be added to the wiki, or somewhere else. But, all the same, it's become another thread that will jump to the top of the list everytime someone posts, and drag attention & time away from the more useful and worthwhile threads.
think, people. think... streamline, efficiency, WWED? (What Would Encom Do?)

My suggestion is to add this to the resources sticky - I'd say it qualifies. And thanks Bluefire for the effort.

Jaguar: I made this thread so people could suggest other pages to add to the reader bundle and for any discussion thereof.
