Twitter's probably the right way to go.

Someone with a twitter account could set up a list to follow specific folks at the event to keep coordinated. Then anyone with an account can just follow that list and keep up on WTF is going on.

I'd be happy to set it up if there's interest on my account.

You don't necessarily have to. You could just follow along via a rss feed using an rss client, since twitter sets one up for each account/list they provide.

Only need an account to participate.

 		Crazy question, though I think I know the answer. The Encom Event starts at 8pm right? That would mean 11:00pm eastern wouldn't it? I just thought about that..... that's early morning for our UK people too. Shocked

Correct. Well considering that it's spring break/Friday, being in the east cost myself, it should be no problem staying up late. For the UK people, tough break >_<

 		Yup. Festivities start here at 2:30 am, and the conference itself doesn't start until 4 am! But it's a Friday night, and I have nothing better to do than watch the live stream, so *shrug*

Yeah.. I know for a fact that I'm probably going to be asleep at those times, so I'm going to have to catch up another day. Anyone willing to put the festivities up on youtube?

Aside from the new site design I've rolled out today, I've got a working live streaming hub...

Go to http://4dfiction.com/live/operationtron tonight to catch the live stream from Hazado at the Encom event, and join in the ustream and irc chats.

I'm sure at the end, the video(s) that were broadcast will be saved by Hazado, and will get them available for viewing at a later date, whether via UStream or on Youtube (the latter would obviously hit a greater audience =)

 		Hey guys, here's my lil' quick update from SF. Here at Wondercon, met up with tronlegacygirl, we're giving away flyers and meeting a bunch of people with Encom badges! Pretty rainy today, but I hope that doesn't stop the crowd from going to Hyatt and the press conference!

Euchre, you seem to have an impeccable sense of where people should meet. Looks like the event is actually going to be held at the fountain. At least this pic from the location would suggest so.
