 		[Partial Solve]Hive-Ku Wavs ordered
Before I [SPEC] my wav order, I just want to point out that I don't think that creepy follows on from asset, as SPEC'd by Atoner. The reasoning I have for this is the long wind down sound at the end of asset implies that it's a terminating wav so nothing should follow it. But I can see your reasoning as well, and it probably doesn't make a great deal of difference either way. Anyway, here's my wav order: 

Aiden, Kamal et. al...		Jersey & Durga		Janissary

Woo, that's a whole lot of linkage! And whaddya know, there are 3 gaps, and 3 wav files still to get: visa, code_word & real.

I [SPEC] that gap1 will be filled by code_word, gap2 by visa, and gap3 by real. *puts away the crystal ball*

On another note, can anyone confirm or deny whether Spartans ever got to retire? Reason I ask is that a mate mentioned that they don't, and if that's the case, then J 2 can't be an ex-Spartan.

In creepy Jersey ponders how creepy it would be if someone was listening to him and Durga. Durga replies that's impossible; she would know. Unless, of course, whoever was listening was inside her - she wouldn't know then, because she's reflected. She just sees bees.

You can clearly see how the two lines delivered by the cop link together, interrupted by Jan's line (which may have confused some people about the ordering)

I'm inclined to think that the gap instead would be between cute_little_caps and pony_tail as the two don't seem to fit together. Where did talk of a gangster come up? What chatter are they talking about? (Kamal couldn't reach whoever he was trying to talk to in cute_little_caps, and yet they are talking about a conversation in pony_tail.)

 		cute_little_caps and pony_tail lead right into each other, with the "We both need girlfriends" / "It's not a girlfriend ..." line. Totally seamless IMO.

 		Thanks for your comments Atrophied, and I can see your point about there being no gap between creamsicle and miracles, and while I'm not 100% convinced, it did give me pause for thought, and in that pause I tried to think where the other gap could be.

Now I disagree with this. The chatter they are talking about is the one that is continually beeping throughout cute_little_caps. Talk of the gangster, is only brought up in pony_tail, so it doesn't need to bridge the gap, and as for Kamal not reaching whoever, I think you have that backwards. It sounds to me like someone is trying to reach Kamal and he's ignoring it. The conversation they talk about in pony_tail is the occasion when Kamal was on his arranged date with Sophia, and he ghosted Aiden's chatter to find out that he was seeing this other girl. So, I don't think the gap is between those wave files, but I have another possible location for the gap...

I had a bit of a listen, and I thought, maybe the third gap would be between exclusive_license and good_at_my_job. The more I listen to this, the more I'm convinced as well. If you listen to the very end of exclusive_license, when Jersey says Daaamn! It is actually cut off very slightly, which would imply that it would be continued on the next wav file but it's not. Add to that the fact that I don't think Durga would continue playing the recorded conversation without some form of introduction, or even waiting for Jersey to ask to hear more, and we have a possible gap.

I noticed this gap beforehand when drawing up my list, but wasn't overly certain, and thought it more likely there be a gap between creamsicle and miracles, but hey, if there's no gap there, then that's kinda good - cos I was a bit stuck with 4 gaps and only 3 extra wavs to get!!

Anyway, just my humble opinion Wink

That's Hiro talking to Kamal who's in the same room. Someone's been trying to get hold of Kamal all day obviously, and Hiro's just commenting on the fact that he keeps ignoring it.

Kamal is simply saying that he knows who is trying to get a hold of him, namely Aiden, because he "was ghosting his chatter and...sort of let him notice". This ghosting took place after Sophia asked Kamal to find out if Aiden was cheating on her.

Is that any clearer? If it makes it any clearer, imagine Kamal starting off pony_tail by saying "Anyway, it's not a girlfriend at the other end of that chatter..." (All I've done there is add in the word "anyway") It might make the meaning of the piece clearer.

 		Let me suggest that we move the discussion of all the sound clips over to the new thread I just started, as we see the stories merging. Mostly this is to shut down the 109 page thread from last week's clips, but I think this is a good place to start a new chapter in the discussion of the clips.

Having listened to it it would appear (using a bit of logical deduction) that REAL goes immediately after CODE_WORD and before BLUE_THEN_RED. We know where VISA goes and CODE_WORD ends mid sentence and doesn't cover Kamal actually going to Aiden's place... in BLUE_THEN_RED Kamal is already at Aiden's.

-- edit, now that REAL has gone hot it's apparent that REAL actually goes between AWFUL_FAST and CREEPY in the Durga conversation. The CODE_WORD wav seems cut short, but it winds down at the end of it so I guess that's the end of the scene.

I edited my recording of the Visa axon phone call as well as I could. I was able to remove some of the background noise, and also, it fits well in a playlist now, right between blue_then_red and my_family. So, attached for your convenience, I give you the "unofficial visa.wav".

Man, I'm glad I decided to record that phone call. Who knew it wouldn't go hot on the ILB site for so long?
