Last night was frigging amazing. Those of us with forged Encom IDs were let into a special roped-off section in front of the stage. Nice to see the IDs do give special privileges.
Back to the hotel, before we were let into the ballroom for the pre-op meeting, there was a couple of guys from a website interviewing people, and I got interviewed. Anybody know the name of the website? They told me, but in the ensuing excitement, I forgot the site. It was geek or nerd something.com.
BTW, I've got an extra SF Operation Tron achievement code for trade, if anybody has any extra achievement codes.

@thebruce:
I got there about 7pm so I missed all that.
I talked to blink for a bit who said socalsteve was selected for a team.
Not sure when Jane and the other alums were asked to go onstage.
Selfish request:
Could someone who's already entered their sticker code PM it to me to see if it works like the card codes did and allows for multiple entries on a single code?
Spending 3 of the 5 hours it took to get there more or less parked on the freeway, I'm really hating finding out about these codes only after they were all gone.

My guess would be that it's something to do with Space Paranoids, but that's a stab in the dark. At what point in the event did that hitt the screen? What was happening? If anything it's gotta be a game reference.

that's a new one as far I've seen. Weird thing is, the FLYNN LIVES Operation Tron site doesn't show a link to that page. Good find IMO, though it doesn't give much more than we've already seen.

It happened after the protesters got off stage. It only shows up twice, that time i got a screen shot of and one time where it is all together instead of separated like that. The second time it happens wasn't very much in focus on my iphone feed (Not much was).

Very good eye!! It definitely is reference to Encom's Space Paranoids arcade game (at least the ones in Flynn's Arcade at last years Comic Con). The levels are referred to as "Sectors" in the game. Sector 1 is the first level of Space Paranoids. I believe when the game begins and whenever a player dies (gets smooshed by a Recognizer) the following text appears:
Player (either 1 or 2)
Sector (whichever level you're on)

I want them to hurry up and update the sites. I can't wait to see the aftermath of the event.
