Got a message back.
"I spoke of Mary, and lambs. These are not part of this key. Neither is your Canada."
This shows that the Mary had a little lamb part isnt important. Also kills our Canada/hockey idea.

Finally got a response to just a random answer to the riddle. Received my start game email and riddle response in 2 emails.
I figured why not just send a random answer to the box and see what comes back and this is what the email said.
Quote:
No, think outside of the email box.
My answer was the "I hate all of you!" part. lol I think it was a nice way of telling me - um no, you need to use your brain lol
Just thinking out loud but the response he gave Miles about
Quote:
"I spoke of Mary, and lambs. These are not part of this key. Neither is your Canada."
Unless its a typo with the lambs bit - do you think he meant we could also leave out the part about jack and jill - children are sometimes referred to as lambs. So if we took out the "lambs" then we'd have humpty dumpty, love of hockey (i guess at face value), too many men and hate.
Jeez this lvl 1 riddle is killing my brain lol We're barely started and my brain is already mush about this riddle
Edit for possible site? I was googling I hate you all! and found this website with nothing but the title on it and am trying different word codes to see if this might be a site we should be using but I don't know -

hideandseek hates us all.
Maddie is too caught up with life to talk to us.
Ifsogirl, could you please tell us what your email gave you?

I am dropping this game. Sent in "Yes" two days ago and didn't get a response. The person behind the curtain doesn't appear to be "on top" of the game.

Hey VeritasK - it took about 7 days for me to get a response when I first wanted to start the game :/ I don't know what's going on with the PM unless some emails are falling through the cracks which isn't a good thing

Whois shows that the website was created on 02-dec-1999. So i'm guessing it's OOG?

okie dokie I didn't think to check when the website was created - good job Victorecho
On a side note - this puzzle is driving me crazy. I'm trying to think of everything possible that could possibly offer the solution.
I've counted letters, tried to make the letters correspond to a number alphabetically, tried to find hidden meanings and I'm still confused and frustrated
The first 3 lines are from nursery rhymes, but they're either incomplete or wrong. Mary had a little lamb, little lamb, little lamb. Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall - not fell off a wall. Jack and Jill went (not walked) up the (not a) hill.
I don't know where hockey, men or hate come into it Is anyone else having a better time with this puzzle?

So I randomly tried '6' because I for some reason connected 'too many men' to the hockey penalty, 'too many men on the ice'. Also when you remove 'key' from the original missing letters, you are left with 6.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The reply was simply 'No.' I was hoping to squeeze a clue out of the sender, but oh well. XD
Humpty Dumpty was in Lewis Carroll's 'Through the Looking Glass', and James' note said he 'hit the bottom of the rabbit hole', which might be another Carroll reference? Possible connection? And with 'too many men', maybe 'all the King's men'? But I'm not sure how the rest of the riddle would fit into this, so maybe it's just way off.
I can't really find a link between nursery rhymes, hockey, too many men and hate either. Kind of stumped here.
