Ha ha, this is going crazy already? It seems odd that they're creating a state-wide curfew over this already.

Sorry for the double-post, but I just want to commend the PM for this story. I mean, there's not a super duper amount of interactivity and puzzle solving, but the fact that they're writing regular updates is great, and that they're keeping their character true is pretty fun to follow.

Great job, PM, if you're a part of the unforums! Very Happy I like this a lot so far. Pulpy atmosphere for the characters and story, and lots of fun. I look forward to the next post so that I can bug cheer Zeke on. XD I wonder if he'd be amicable to leaving an AIM window open at work or if that's forbidden... Heh.

Waiting for them to find out that Conaghan has gone missing and that he's not just skipping town.

New post again. Lizzie is making the SM connection; Zeke and Lizzie have a fight.

I think we could subtitle this one "how and why Zeke is not married."

Isn't he only about 24, or 26? XD Lizzie also sounds like more of a work-a-holic than Zeke does!

Looking forward to seeing where this goes. Still wish we could yammer at Lizzie, though I think that at this point, we'd probably only drive her to do MORE SM research, thus driving the two apart even further. Surprised

Hmm, maybe their irritability is a sign of SM? Wink

Man, If I wasn't adopting a cool, calm persona for this, I'd tell Zeke to find Lizzie, then go **** and make up.

I don't think that we should tell Zeke what we think she saw... that'd totally set him off again. Don't want him getting furious and, I don't know, throwing a garbage can at her!

Maybe we should point him towards seeing how long the victims seemed to be followed by 'Slendy' before they disappeared? That will give him a time frame for how long it will take Lizzie to go poof. D:

And, according to the blood on the ceiling, perhaps we should take this as a sign: Lizzie's a generally righteous person; she doesn't sound like a sinner the way that our baddy was. Zeke (or maybe us, as players) have the opportunity to sway whether she lives or dies.

Quote:
Now if a righteous person turns from his righteousness and practices iniquity, (F) and I put a stumbling block in front of him, he will die. (G) If you did not warn him, he will die because of his sin and the righteous acts he did will not be remembered. Yet I will hold you responsible for his blood. 21 But if you warn the righteous person that he should not sin, and he does not sin, he will indeed live because he listened to [your] warning, and you will have saved your life.

If we're assuming that Slendy is the one doing the speaking, here, and Lizzie is the one who has a stumbling block in front of her, how can we help Zeke to warn her... or vice versa? Maybe we need to warn Lizzie to get through to Zeke, somehow?

What gets me about this is ... why is Slendy quoting bible verses? Unless the slenderman in this story is drastically different from the slenderman in other stories, why is he even trying to communicate, particularly in such a pious tone?

I'm thinking either it was written by Sam, or the Slender man is this story is very different. (ie. protecting the kids from the kidnappers instead of kidnapping them.)
