The ARK = Alex thing has been done before. We don't know. It was brought up to Jay but he replied that he didn't know, either (this was WAY back towards the beginning!)

We don't know if the ark is Alex, that's what we're waiting to find out!

He may not be the ARK (although I still say "Kralie" is a bit too weird a name to be a coincidence), but Slendy doesn't usually take weeks (or however long Alex was taping himself) before offing his victims, so I'm fairly certain there is something special about these guys.

Well... if you read it backwards, it sounds stupid. But my point still stands. The first three letters in Alex's last name, backwards, spell "ark".

Alex is the only character with a last name.

I believe this was done purposefully for the story. The role of characters in this story is indicated by their given names: Alex Kralie, Brian, Tim, Sarah, Seth, J, totheark, unnamed monster.

Unnamed characters are mysterious and dangerous. Abbreviated names are inconsequential. Partially named characters are forgettable pawns in the story. Fully named characters (who are currently missing) are vulnerable to looming danger. Characters with aliases are powerful and have risen above the situation (since partial names and full names indicate vulnerability).

Changes to known names indicate changes in that character's role in the story:
- J was upgraded from inconsequential narrator to pawn after Entry 19 via Twitter. It's no coincidence that this seemingly out-of-place tweet was posted right before TTA's video of J and SM in the same room together. I believe J's interview with Tim and his first visit to the house was still done in his role of unseen narrator. The aftermath of Entry 19 changed J's life (and status in the story).
- Seth was upgraded to pawn in Entry 22. He was shown in Entry 9 as a background character used to indicate Alex's descent into madness. Entry 22 changed him into Alex's cohort and eventual SM victim.
- totheark's physical presence in Entry 19 acted as Tim's upgrade in the story from a pawn to a powerful main character (as it linked the alias to his character).

Stray thoughts:
- It's interesting that while both Sarah and Brian are absent in most of the Entries, Brian's absence is much more distressing. This is true for two reasons. 1) Characters have been mentioning Brian's absence, while they ignore Sarah's absence. 2) We know Brian's connection to Alex, but have not been told about Sarah's connection to Alex (why is she even in his college film?).
- After writing Seth's section, I realized he was unnamed and therefore dangerous (by my own logic). I think this is still true as he was used in the entry as a barometer of Alex's stability. Besides, his unsettling look of disgust was (probably) referenced in a TTA video, which was almost on SM-levels of horror when discovered out of context.

Hmm...I don't think it means anything. Mathematically at least.

I've tried look for a numerical sequence in both numbers, and I've tried all kinds of mathematical interpretations of the":" and "//" from a square-root to addition, but I got nothing. The only significance I think this might have (Besides the 4/18/10 data) is something from a holy book or other significant text.

Has anyone tried the Qur'an? There might be a passage in there...maybe...
I've felt for awhile now that if you could figure out if there was an input/output system to the first corrupt text (when J tried to type out "found something") and applied it to this, you might get a message. However, I have no idea of how one would go about doing this.

If we're going to go on speculating, how about this? Kralie = ark lie? Maybe he's feloniously the ark! ;P

I think it might be reading a little too into things with that, though that's an interesting take on it.

Chucking 35:77//47 into the [DEC/CHAR] section of the binary translator yields '#M/'. Taking the colon and slashes out yields 's' o_O

Tossing them through a ROT encoder leads to this. It COULD be a breakdown of hours, minutes and seconds:

ROT-7 and 17: 02:44//14
ROT-8 and 18: 13:55//25

So we could be looking at April 18th, 2010 at 2:44 and 14 seconds AM, or 1:55 and 25 seconds PM. Surprised

Just a thought! XD

When you put 41810 in [DEC/CHAR] you get R. i thought that was interesting, but I also thought that it probably was just a coincidence.

I wouldn't have even thought of that! THE MYSTERY IS SOLVED. But yeah, most likely a coincidence, since [DEC/CHAR] hasn't been used before.

Or Kralie = Ark Eli where "Eli the priest guards the ark of the covenant so that members of the twelve tribes can come to worship on the great feast days of the year"

Wooh, so maybe it is the time that we'll see whatever gets uploaded! Not looking forward to waiting until 2AM for a video, though it would not be completely unexpected! (Crossing my fingers for one in the afternoon! XD)

Then both possible interpretations are in fact form points before the messages was received.

Well there goes time travel.

"OH! OH! OH! THIS SUNDAY IS APRIL 18TH! OH!" - Me, just now.

Is anyone stoked for it? I'm sort of excited, but I'm also expecting a huge letdown. What would be hilarious is if it started off like Entry 19.5 and then in the middle, it cuts off and turns into an Entry ######-esque video, then cuts back to the Entry 19.5-esque stuff again.

OH OH OH OH OH, EVEN BETTER! Jay is making a video log for YouTube and in the middle of the video, Slender Man's static starts taking effect on screen. The plot thickens...

I'm waiting for a rave party in Jay's hotel room, Slendy complete with glowsticks and Masky spazzing over the strobe lights.

Circle-fade to black with one of the characters green-screened in, declaring, "THAT'S ALL, FOLKS!" and then the credits roll.

...Seriously, though, looking forward to the 18th. I'm scheduling my loads of homework around staying up for it. XD
