People talking about the teeth: Let me point out that IAMAMI's teeth and XTINA's teeth do, from some pics posted here, appear to be a match, but so do, as I noticed while watching old New Series 1 episodes recently, Billie Piper's (Rose Tyler from Doctor Who), at least it seemed that way to me at the time.

theres a countdown on christina aguilera's homepage ending in about 2 day. still thinkin its her. would be nice even though im not a fan of her previous stuff.

Well she has a new album coming out which led to the speculation in the first place, but the promotional art for it is completely different. It's all glossy and robotic and modern. Nothing to do with the myth of Mandragora at all.

Has anything Aguilera ever done sounded in any way similar to iamami's music?

I'm not trying to be sarcastic. It's just that i don't particularly follow Aguilera, so, although everything I've ever heard or seen from Aguilera is entirely disconnected from and inferior to what iamami does, I'm not an authority on the topic.

Are people suggesting that Aguilera is iamami simply because it's a fun thing to do? Or are there actual artistic or game-related reasons for putting forth this theory?

It's as unlikely as it sounds, which is precisely why everyone wanted it to be her. How awesome would it be if a teen pop idol became a freakish, avant garde artist! I sure hoped it was her even though I knew the chances were slim.

The only evidence that suggests it could be her is an iamwhoami image appearing on a SONY BMG domain (her record label), although it was most probably from a Sony blog post or something talking about the viral phenomenon.

I agree that it is indeeed Jona Lee.

Alot of you are talking about a collaboration here, yet no one took the time to look at the guys in the video.

One of the guys looks faintly similar to Dan Deacon, whom is an electronic artist.

I doubt it's him, due to his style of electronic being more happy and upbeat, and not really of this tragic sound. But, I do think that we should take a look at these fellas and let our inner hipster come out and identify these bearded dudes.

Edit: Actually, after looking at Jonna Lee's band pictures, the guys in the video seems to be her bandmates

I'm wondering if it actually will spell something out and if it relates to the animal noises. In the first video the noise is from the goat video, it's the word 'bubble' slowed down, in the second video it's the owl hooting.

In the O video, it seems the ropes across her chest make a pentagram.
Dunno if it's intentional or not, but it seems everything in here, subtle or direct, is for artistic effect and to make us wonder. I assume it's there for a reason.
