Wow, so many people view these threads yet the vast majority of them are just trolling. Why read these threads if you aren't going to PM? It's like RPG's all over again, everybody wants to be the player and only a few want to be the DM.

Maybe only peeps from the states and elsewhere are reading this?
Okay, I'm throwing it open to test the theory.

Lots of people read threads for various reasons. I do not aspire to be a PM but I enjoy reading what others are planning. And, as a moderator I have to read various threads just to keep an eye on what is happening (especially when I'm not actively playing a game).

Also, many people have been on holiday (you know, Christmas, New Years) and may be away from the keyboard - things slow down a bit this time of year. Others have too much real life work and might be interested in being BTS at a future date but not right now (but they still read these threads).

Think honey, not vinegar. You can try by offering a little more info about the type of project you are designing and what skills are you looking for.

Have you tried contacting people on the PM Recruitment Thread? It's often easier to select people with the skills you're looking for that way -- also, they've expressed an interest in PMing by posting there, so are likely to be receptive.

It might also help you match people to the project who express an interest in the particular genre you're targeting.
