hey everybody john and sublime i have to agree with seadevil and say you should join in the conversation over there
i think you both could come up with some pretty good questions

Im working on it, Im working on it! Surprised

and yes, should prolly wait a bit Seadevil. I'm not sure what to wait for but Vidal makes a good point. If we only get one shot at getting something out of Henry we should be careful about what we ask and make sure it gives us maximum results!!!

Mostly I intend to mess with Malcolm's head while at same trying to extract any truth from Malcolm 'Mr I've got no sense of Humor'. His last reply makes it so much easier (the messing not the truth part).

Talking to Al is different, I'm going to be nice to him or in fact am nice already. Although if someone whats to play the bad cop please feel welcome. I can only handle so many opposing emotions at once - to paraphrase "emotional range of a teaspoon" Wink

yeah, wowo, you could just follow along with what you can see, but i really don't know what we should do other than talk to Vidal and friends.

I'm wondering does this mean we are in the next chapter or is it the interlude?

Maybe both tbone.

Have you seen Malcolm's reply?

It would appear that he gave out deeply personal information (if true):

Quote:
I'm not exactly a big music person to be honest. I really liked a recent song by Denise Cross called "Insufferable". It reminded me of living with my parents when I was a kid; they were both violent alcoholics and are a constant reminder to me of where I came from and where I want to be when I have a family of my own.

Which in hindsight makes me deeply suspicious, why do that. Or is he merely describing me Wink He will when he sees my reply.

i think he's trying to get us to trust him more, which is what everyone is doing at this point

honestly seadevil, i'm not saying i trust malcolm completely but i do think that you shouldn't be so harsh, and i quote,
Quote:
It would appear that your up bringing (if true) has created a shell around your personality and now you seek loving parents not in human form but in the guise of the all powerful Guardians of Light. You seem so anti-human and quite pessimistic. Quite sad really.

i really think you should keep more of an open mind, at least until one side or another does something evil for sure. we shouldn't trust hearsay as much, everyside is just saying the other is bad so we don't know anything yet

Just playing bad cop, trying to shake something lose.

Please feel free ask him questions, you did before. I'll stand back for bit, you never know being nice too him might work too.

My mind is very open, not many people I know put deeply personal stuff on an open forum that like, somewhat odd if you ask me.

i not really saying you should stand back but, we can both talk to him with two different tactics. And now that i think about it that way, that could really work.

the personal sides does make me think Malcolm's really trying to connect with us.
in both of his responses, to me and you he adds that to it

Well Al has replied and given us a piece of info we didn't have before. That Henry is referred to as Henry IX. Does this mean that there has been eight previous versions of the Henry A.I.?

I've asked Al to root around WorldView to see if any there is any mention of previous projects. Malcolm hasn't replied as yet, John your posts were wonderfully concise and to the point hopefully Malcolm will respond to that.

I think that maybe I have drifted too much on the Church issue and we need to focus back on WorldView obviously still need to know if we can trust the Church or not.

Al has said that he's heard nothing but praise for the Church which is odd because no matter how hard you try you can't please all of the people all of the time.

Malcolm does appear to have alligator skin.

Couple points:

Malcolm definitely has alligator skin. His personal information feels out of place in his otherwise stoic character. They seem very calculated and carefully doled out.

Al said that Henry IX was a nickname Keven gave the M2-K1 project. He's probably the second version considering this is the M2 (mark 2) K1 project. The first was most likely a proof of concept (or a failure) and this is the full fledged development.

When Al said that he's heard nothing but praise for the Church I think (well, assume anyway) that it was figurative. It sounds like everybody who's anybody supports the Church and the opposition is only a grassroots effort. Remember that the other Vidal is against them. He did a good enough job standing up to them that he was killed.

I thought the 'M' referred to 'Milestone', oh well can't be right all the time Wink

Still doesn't make sense though, I thought Kevin was meant to be English, any Englishman knows its written Henry VIII not IX. Not correct Roman numerals whether you are English or not.

Edit: Amazing not only can I not read and but I can't count either.

WOWO:

Having played 'Behind the Yellow Curtain' before this, any ARG needs support mechanisms like forums, chat-rooms, use of other comms methods it is a collaborative process amongst the community of players. I don't expect to solve every clue, though I hope to contribute to the solving of clues. If we didn't have these mechanisms we all being playing the game on our own really defeats the whole idea, don't you think?

I don't understand your reluctance register on the IDGi forum, as I have already said it only requires a valid email address, not as if your signing your life away. I even created a special hotmail account just for my ARG comms.

However I don't want to turn this trail head into why you don't want to register on forums. It is entirely up to you, don't let opinionated people like me change your mind. Play your own way.

Well if Kevin did nicknamed Henry as Henry IX, then that suggests Henry isn't that bad a dude after all.

The historical figure spent most of his life as cardinal and never attempted to the seize the throne, doesn't sound like the Henry we've been represented with so far.

Quote:
He was a very active bishop and even today is still remembered in the town for his numerous acts of charity.
