Still new to the ARG thing but I've been waiting a while for htis game to start.

1. The chess piece on the website looks awfully familiar to the one seen in the video clip.

2. In CTW, a puzzle was just solved from a data matrix code. Could this be the same thing?

An overzealous attempt to contribute. Smile When I looked at the envelope the FIRST thing I did was consult mapquest, then the USPS.

Mapquest recognized the address and put the star right on the end of the street. The USPS said "Unh Uh."

I had to post something... Smile Now that I look back, I see your post.

 		No sweat Spuds, just trying to get everyone one the same page and up to speed. Very Happy

Newbie, as to your two points:
(1) The knight chess piece *has* shown up previously (in the trailer and in an earlier test). Chess seems to be some sort of theme (5th test also involved chess - queen).

(2) The barcode on the envelope is *supposed* to be a PDF417 on an Information Based Indicium (see previous posts) but certain aspects of it is inconsistant with a PDF417. Actually I was the one to recognize the datamatrix at CTW from all my researching on this L3 barcode. Smile
