Please, if they're college schedule is anything like mine, school ends TODAY for most majors. If they've been having finals, chances are that it's going to be a "LET'S FILM AND EDIT EVERYTHING ON THE WEEKEND!" event. I don't see much chance of us getting anything earlier than midnight... though I'm looking forward to the pre-upload chatter! ;P

I have minimal blades training. Enough that I could get away from a man after us. As long as he has no gun. But I'm not worried about that anyway. The knife thing was a joke. And are you male or female Dray?

If this were to end with Jay going missing, they would have done it already. They've been posting too many hints and reminders to do that! I mean, they could still end it with Jay going missing, but they'll probably drag him through the muck a little longer before that goes down. I don't think that they're going to fizzle out and allow him to fade away!

On a random note: I had a stray thought last night. (Prepare for rampant speculation!)

What if this isn't the first time that Jay has gone looking for Alex, and Alex did not actually go missing in the way that Jay writes about in the Introduction episode? I'm suggesting this because in #22, we see Alex talking about burning the tapes, but he obviously never does that. However, Jay nearly quotes what Alex had to say in Introduction, without supposedly having seen or been in possession of #22 at the time.

Could it be that Jay saw #22 (along with the rest of the tapes) earlier in time, but had been made to forget what he saw? I'm also suggesting this because it seems strange that TTA would be in possession of #22 along with the sound from other videos.

What if Tim and Jay had actually been working on finding Alex and Brian, respectively, at some point before the series started, and in their investigation, they'd BOTH had access to the tapes? Perhaps Tim had been analyzing sounds and such from some of the missing-audio tapes, found something that was deeply troubling, and had censored them while keeping copies for himself? Maybe something during an earlier investigation set him off on the road to becoming the masked psycho that we know from the most recent videos? It could be that they were BOTH made to forget at some point, so in #15, they both genuinely felt that they didn't really know one another save for what Jay saw from the tapes. There's ample evidence to suggest that they have had their brains wiped at least once. There could be an entire backstory that happened between the original filming and when Introduction appeared on the internet that they don't remember, or mis-remember.

If something happened to Alex that Jay found hard to stomach, perhaps he replaced the actual memory with something more benign, mixed with what he saw from #22: "Alex gave me the tapes instead of burning them and moved away."

Think a mix of Silent Hill 2 and Shutter Island for psychological twist endings?

What are our thoughts on TTA and the MM being two different people? Personally, I've been leaning more and more towards this lately. It would explain a hell of a lot of things. (Or maybe just in my mind)

It could very well be! Jay seems to equate the two as one person, and there's conflicting evidence from TTA himself. It's been talked about pretty extensively in just about all of the threads involving Masky. I'm kind of thinking that TTA is Masky at this point. The 'us' and 'we' that TTA uses are too ambiguous for me to think that he means 'myself and MM', and whenever we see MM from TTA's videos, the camera's quite still. I don't know if there's other compelling evidence to suggest that there's more than one person working against Jay (outside of SM, of course!)

Well here are how I see things:
1) They are two separate beings and Masky is Tim while TTA is Alex
or
2) He's referring to himself as a split personalities thing. I.E. He sees himself as Totheark and Tim
