 		anyone stop to think maybe jay is the new masky i mean it makes sense he does seem to randomly teleport with no idea what's going on time to time

I find it really hard to believe that, given the importance of cameras and videos to him, that that would be the case. If it is, I mean, that's one thing -- but from the way he reacts when the camera shows up, it just seems to me like he'd have been much more rigorous about getting rid of cameras and the "I forgot about it" was an excuse so as not to scaryfy the new girl!

It wasn't the camera that attracted Slenderman. The entire series has been pretty clear that it's the tapes. Think "The Ring" where Samara came with the tape. Same thing here.

Now...why Alex kept one tape is beyond me. The only thing I can think of there is that Alex wanted some form of proof to remind him that no, he wasn't insane.

That or Alex is trying to pawn off Slenderman to Jay through the tapes.

That would make sense too, as the tape wasn't a cohesive thing. It showed spurts of things...a drive-by, blurred scene of somewhere, Alex investigating what looked like a ruined bathroom, a masked man watching him, Alex walking down a hallway, and the weird pixelatio-...

Wait isn't that basically a complete summary of what happened to Jay?

I could be way over thinking this but watching entry 15 again, and not being able to see Tim's face, he still shows a couple signs of lying when he says he doesn't know where Brian or Alex are, namely his talking slows down and he moves away from Jay a bit, and then moves to touch his face when the questioning continues. And then when he's being asked about people coming on the set of MH, he slightly moves the book to be more directly in between him and Jay. But like I said, could be way over thinking this.

not to mention that jay said he wanted to "move somewhere far out of state and forget about it" same as alex.

 		...So after seeing that, does anyone else think that the Operator symbol may represent a crossed out Camera Lens?

I used to think it was just a face with an X across it to represent Slendy's lack of features, but when I think about it- Everytime a Camera is around one, something REEEEEALLY bad happens.

Could it be a warning sign saying that you shouldn't film here?

Perhaps the burning down of Jay's old house was done on purpose by Tim/Masky to try and get rid of the Slendy-taint of the remaining taints. Perhaps that led to Slenderman being attracted to the one, single leftover tape of Alex's (if indeed it was a leftover and not a planted tape).

Maybe that one, single leftover tape was the ark.
